Bruce Jenner To Undergo Sex Reassignment Surgery To Physically Confirm Gender By Spring's End?

Ever since Bruce Jenner spoke with Diane Sawyer about his gender identity, everyone has been wondering when – or if – he will undergo sex reassignment surgery. In the two part special shot for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which aired May 17 and May 18, it looks like Bruce Jenner is taking things slow and just trying to live his new, open life one day at a time.

When Bruce spoke with his stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, he made it seem as though he had made the appointment to complete his transition. Then, Bruce spoke with Khloe Kardashian and his daughter Kendall Jenner, saying that “Bruce” could “quite possibly” be gone by the springtime of this year, aka within the next month or so.

Khloe asks, “When is Bruce going to be gone? Do you have a timeframe?” Bruce responds by saying, “Probably in the spring.” A distraught Kendall and Khloe confront Bruce saying that he needed to be more open with his family about these decisions, and that when it comes to raising children, they deserve to know these things way more in advance than a few months.

When Kim says to him, “So, like you don’t have a surgery to remove that and then that means you’re the woman…” Bruce responds by saying, “Remove the little thing down there? You can do an awful lot down there. As of right now, no, I don’t have an appointment to do that.”

While Bruce continues to play coy on what exactly his plans are, and he has every right to do so, one thing is certain: Bruce Jenner has a few more surgeries scheduled to adjust his appearance and make him look more like a woman, particularly in his face. To be honest, we would not be surprised if Bruce really does have the sex reassignment surgery scheduled, but does not want to announce anything until he airs his own show.

Between his interview with Diane Sawyer, and now this special on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, there will be very little need to watch Bruce’s new docu-series following his transition if all of the questions are answered. Of course, he has to leave some things open in order for viewers to tune in and watch his own show.
