At this point, the whole world knows about Bruce Jenner’s sex change, right? Is there anyone hiding under a rock [a.k.a. not living in Hollywood and/or intimately involved with reality TV production] that doesn’t know that Bruce Jenner is transitioning into a woman? Even barring the rumors that have circulated about his sex change for the past two years, both People Magazine and US Weekly confirmed the news this week. Not to mention, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and the rest of Bruce’s family has either officially or unofficially confirmed the news themselves, and Bruce reportedly also has a reality TV show coming out that will document the change in more intimate detail.
If all of that wasn’t enough for you, then maybe this will change your mind – Bruce Jenner’s mother, Esther Jenner, has also confirmed Bruce Jenner’s sex change. She spoke to Radar Online about it, explaining, “I just learned about [his transition]. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it.” And the first thing she does is tell Radar Online about this talk? How wonderful.
Esther Jenner, in addition to confirming that we’ll see the change on a documentary TV show, also added, “Right now I am more proud of him for what he’s allowing himself to do. I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all the respect.” Unfortunately, there are others that don’t feel that way, most notably Kris Jenner, Bruce’s ex-wife. I guess this story does cast her in a negative light, since she’s the one who held Bruce back all these years from making this decision. Of course, Kris Jenner doesn’t like anything that shows Kris Jenner in a bad light, and she also doesn’t like anything that distracts from her little media empire. Bruce Jenner getting a sex change? Most definitely distracting from Kris Jenner.
