Former fame-hungry Bachelor Chris Soules has no shame in his game! Chris’s time as the reigning Bachelor is winding down, and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s ex was unofficially announced as the Season 20 Bachelor. But Chris Soules isn’t exactly ready to hand over the reins just yet – Soules is reportedly campaigning hard and trying to convince Chris Harrison to give him another shot at love after his failed relationship with Whitney Bischoff.
The rise and fall of Chris Soules has definitely been entertaining to watch, and downright funny. He began his time in the spotlight as Andi Dorfman’s suitor on The Bachelorette – he garnered a lot of support from fans because he was a down to earth farmer from Iowa and seemed genuinely interested in finding love on the reality TV dating show. However, he was then chosen to be the next Bachelor and Soules morphed into a fame-hungry player and fell in love with the spotlight.
After his tour as The Bachelor, he used his fiancée Whitney Bischoff to stay in the news while he allegedly cheated on her with numerous girls and joined Dancing With The Stars. He insisted he wasn’t chasing fame, but when he was voted off DWTS and dumped by Bischoff he joined another reality TV show on Food Network instead of heading home to the farm in Iowa.
According to CDL’s inside sources, now Chris Soules is trying to steal the Season 20 Bachelor gig from Ben Higgins! A source dished, “Chris Soules has contacted Harrison more than once and pitched the idea of him having a ‘second shot at finding love.’ Chris Soules honestly thinks that Bachelor fans love him – and he keeps telling producers that he will bring in way more viewers than Higgins. It is driving Chris crazy that everyone seems to be in love with Ben already and has forgotten about him.”
Chris Harrison would have to be a fool to sign on Chris Soules as the Bachelor…again. Bachelor Nation is getting tired of famewhores and failed relationships. There hasn’t been a successful wedding in years. And Ben Higgins is way more likely to get married than Chris Soules. Do you think Ben will make a better Bachelor than Chris Soules?
