Ellen DeGeneres and wife Porta de Rossi are on the fast track to a divorce…again – according to reports. Ellen and Portia have had a tumultuous seven years of marriage – but the last couple years have been especially rough. It’s no secret that Ellen and Portia have more issues than we care to try and count, but the ongoing reason behind most of their fighting was the fact that Porta wanted to have kids, and Ellen was not on board.
Earlier this year Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi seemed to be getting back on track (finally) and for a while we foolishly thought they might actually be able to avoid a divorce – but alas that is not the case. Ellen finally caved and agreed to being the IVF process, she knew it was the only way to keep Portia happy.
However, after Portia’s last round of IVF treatments failed, Ellen was secretly thrilled according to Life & Style Magazine and she basically told Portia that it wasn’t meant to be and they were done trying … which did not go over well with her wife.
An insider dished to Life & Style Magazine, “Their relationship is falling apart. They have some massive issues to work out.” The source added, “Ellen can be very selfish, she wants things to go her way.”
According to the snitch, Portia and Ellen are currently living in separate houses and trying to work out their issues in couple’s therapy, but Portia is heartbroken that Ellen told her she couldn’t keep trying to get pregnant, and she apparently breaks down in tears whenever she sees a baby when she is out and about.
At this point, Portia and Ellen really don’t have too many sympathizers left – it’s obvious that they are both unhappy in their marriage. Portia’s clock is ticking, she may have to choose between the baby she desperately wants and her power-hungry wife.
