Full House is making a comeback – the popular family comedy is getting a reboot on Netflix and has been titled “Fuller House.” But, there is some major controversy swirling over the Fuller House reboot’s cast, or its lack of original cast members. Apparently, John Stamos, who you most likely know as Uncle Jesse, is producing the reboot, but is being accused of only inviting back half of the cast – and some of the original Full House alumni are not happy about it.
The May 11 edition of Star Magazine Reveals, “John Stamos gave fans some good news when he confirmed a Full House reboot is in the works. The revival entitled ‘Fuller House’ will hit Netflix next year and center around DJ Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) raising her two boys in San Francisco as a recent widow, her sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and best-friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) move in to help. But, so far the future of the other Tanners is hazy. Apparently most of them didn’t even know about the reunion!”
Can you imagine logging on to the internet and learning that a TV show you starred in for several years was being resurrected – and you weren’t invited? Well, that is exactly what happened to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin, and Dave Coulier. The Olsen Twins are currently bickering back and forth with John Stamos and social media – they insist that he never even mentioned the reboot to them; however, Stamos tweeted that their claims were “bullshit.” Meanwhile, Lori Loughlin, who played the part of Stamos’s on-screen wife, dished to Star Magazine that she hadn’t been invited back either and stated, “I think we would all like to come back, if the powers that be are fair to all of us.”
Will you be tuning in to the Full House Reboot, which has laughably been nick-named “Half-Full House?” Why on earth would John Stamos only invite back half of the cast? Will it be a flop without the Olsen Twins or Bob Saget? Will all of this drama cause Netlifx to just shut it down entirely? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
