Check out these “General Hospital” spoilers for the Monday, September 14 episode – there’s major Sonny action this week! Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) vows to an unconscious Sonny that he will kill Julian Jerome (William deVry) for shooting him. Of course, Julian isn’t responsible but Morgan cannot think clearly right now. Morgan’s craziness will lead him to a confrontation with Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) just when the Corinthos family least needs to be ripped apart.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) shows up to the hospital expecting to find Sonny wounded but okay, but then Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) tells the family he has bad news. The surgery to save Sonny’s life could either kill him or leave him paralyzed. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is distraught but Michael is there for her and will help her make the best choice.
Dante talks to his unconscious dad and goes off on a rant that it’s his own fault that he’s near death because he decided to staying with the mob. Dante rants about baby Avery losing her dad and how that Morgan blames Julian, but Dante says he blames Sonny for putting himself in the line of fire. Sonny starts to flatline and goes into distress and Dante blames himself for this nose dive in his Dad’s status.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is surprised to hear from Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) that Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) is out of jail. Maxie shouldn’t be, though. After all, Nina didn’t do anything criminal this go round and her only fault is that her evil mother is the murderer of Silas Clay (Michael Easton). But don’t expect Nina to go on the straight and narrow.
Nina had plenty of time to make revenge plans with Franco (Roger Howarth) while they were cell neighbors at the PCPD lock up. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) is shocked to find Nina and Franco waiting for him and wants to know what the hell they want. What they want is revenge for him gaslighting Nina. But first Nina will dump her new husband.
That means no millions for Ric but that’s just the start of what wacko Nina and Franco have planned for rat fink Ric. Here’s a thought – will Franco and Nina get a chance to rifle Ric’s desk and steal the evidence against Ava Jerome (Maura West)? If so, they can ruin Ric’s case against Ava and destroy his reputation as the hot new DA in Port Charles…
And finally, finally – it looks like Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is going to come clean to Jake Doe (Billy Miller) about his identity. Nope, just kidding. Liz will keep lying. She had good intentions, but when Jake is interrupted by little Jake Webber (James Nigbor) for a tuck-in, Liz has a moment to think about her position and decide, no matter what, she can’t give up Jake right now.
