Now that the Ava cat is out of the bag, what’s next? Here are some “General Hospital” spoilers to get you through Tuesday, August 25 on GH. Ava Jerome (Maura West) is taken into custody for the murder of Connie Falconeri, but will Julian Jerome (William deVry) be able to destroy the evidence against her so Ava is off the hook? Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) is in full freak out mode when he hears his lover is back from the dead. Morgan shows up to the PCPD demanding answers from Ava and accusing her of toying with him.
Morgan’s mental state is deteriorating rapidly. Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is thrilled her mom is back, at least for the moment, but may be less excited once she knows what Ava and Morgan have been up to. Franco (Roger Howarth) confessed to the killing of Silas Clay (Michael Easton) but Kiki now is sure he didn’t do it. Franco will also drop the truth bomb on Kiki about Ava sleeping with Morgan again.
Morgan tells Kiki that what Ava did to him was worse than what Ava did to her. Is Morgan really going to play that card? Morgan will regret this later and scramble to make things better with Kiki and try to keep her in his life. At home, Julian tells Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) the truth about Ava, but that’s a bit of ‘too little, too late’ because it will be all over the news.
Julian fills her in on all of this. Looks like Alexis will get a new client related to the murder trial – Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford). Julian heads to the PCPD to check on Ava after her arrest and also to dig into this mob situation. Julian seeks out a familiar face. Does he wants to talk to Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine)? Remember, Jordan was once undercover in the Jerome organization.
Is Julian now secretly working with the PCPD as part of him getting out of the mob life? Who else could Julian go looking for that he knows from the PCPD? Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) have to go arrest Nina, but Nathan is certain that Nina didn’t kill Silas. Now he, Nathan and Jordan need to dig in deeper to find the real killer.
The photo is incriminating, but now that Franco fake confessed, maybe Nina will tell them what she knows to save herself and Franco. When Nina sees Ava at the PCPD, she goes after Ava with claws out, certain that Ava killed Silas whom Nina still loved. This won’t be pretty. Also at the PCPD, Dante tells Valerie Spencer (Brytni Sarpi) their one night stand was wrong. Too bad she’s knocked up!
Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) is moved by a particular passage in Dillon Quartermaine’s (Robert Palmer Watkins) latest screenplay and she’s getting warm fuzzies about Dillon. But then Dillon tells Lulu that Valerie is preggers and it looks like Dillon will take credit to try and save Lulu and Dante’s marriage. Valerie may want to tell Dante the truth, but when he slams their time together, she knows she can’t.
Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) talk fondly about their son. Paul tells Tracy he gave their kid $500k for his new movie. Can Paul afford the cash or does he need Tracy to chip in to help him cover the check? Paul and Tracy bond over the love of their son, but will this lead to some romance between Dillon’s parents?
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) continues to fixate on Julian beyond all reason and with no real evidence. Sonny tells Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that he’s going to make Julian pay, but will Sonny finally start considering alternative explanations for what’s going on with his syndicate while still keeping an eye on Julian?
