Long after their breakup, even after Ian’s engagement, even after his wedding to Nikki Reed, he and Nina continued to follow each other on Twitter and social media. The timing of Ian Somerhalder unfollowing Nina Dobrev now is suspicious, to say the least.
Over the course of the past few weeks Nina Dobrev began dating Austin Stowell, and the internet and The Vampire Diaries fans have been buzzing non-stop about the hot new couple. Ian Somerhalder is supposed to be happily married to Nikki Reed, but it sounds like he could be a little jealous that his ex-girlfriend Nina has moved on. Is it possible that Ian still had feelings for Nina, even after his wedding to Nikki, and was crushed that she began dating Austin Stowell so he unfollowed her?
Ian Somerhalder could be jealous of Nina and Austin, but it is probably more likely that his wife Nikki Reed is jealous of Nina. Ever since Nina’s former BFF Nikki began dating Ian Somerhalder she has gone out of her way to make it very clear to Nina and the rest of the world that he was HER man, even though the only reason he was HER man was because she swooped in and stole him from Nikki.
Insiders have dished on more than once occasion that Nikki was extremely insecure, and constantly paranoid that Ian would cheat on her with Nina while they were on the set of The Vampire Diaries. We are more apt to believe that Nikki was snooping through her husband’s phone and realized that he still followed his ex-girlfriend Nina, and promptly unfollowed her.
