There are rumors that a biopic about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom is on its way and the most fantastic part is that the alleged movie will star Will Smith and Jennifer Lawrence! The obviously fabricated report did get one thing right, if ever there was a movie about Khloe and Lamar’s rocky relationship, Kris Jenner would definitely be heavily involved.
Although the thought of Will Smith playing Lamar Odom is pretty funny, we’re laughing even harder at the suggestion that JLaw would even consider playing Khloe. Jennifer Lawrence is an A-list actress who won an Oscar for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook.” Why in the world would JLaw want to play the role of a TV personality who is less famous (and way less relevant) than herself?
Will Smith hasn’t won any Oscars but he has been nominated twice. Smith’s first nod was for “Ali,” a true biopic about sports hero Muhammad Ali. The second nod was for his role in “The Pursuit of Happyness.”
Will Smith is still pursuing the coveted Oscar trophy and we all know he won’t win it playing Lamar Odom in a Lifetime-esque docu-drama about the life of a reality TV B-lister and her drug-addicted former NBA star hubby.
According to the laughable report in the current issue of OK! magazine, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner are just ironing out the details for the upcoming reality TV turned made for TV movie plan. They claim that Kardashian wants the story to end happily and Kris Jenner wants it to be a tragic tear-jerker.
It’s unclear who started the obviously untrue rumor that Will Smith and Jennifer Lawrence would be interested in playing Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian. We’re pretty sure that the two very respected Hollywood stars would only consider playing the part if it were for a sketch comedy.
There’s a thought though… maybe “Saturday Night Live” could put together a skit or two. Now that would be funny and not in the sad “it’s never going to happen” sort of way. What we really want to see is Jennifer playing Gwyneth Paltrow in ‘Consciously Uncoupling.’
