Kate Middleton NOT Pregant: Pressured for Baby Number 3, Royal Couple Already Planning a Third Child?

Kate Middleton is most definitely not pregnant despite a few ridiculous reports on the Internet. CDL contacted our inside palace source who assured us that The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have no intention of getting pregnant with a third child at this time – although Kate Middleton might be feeling pressured for baby number 3 down the road. Even though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge just welcomed Princess Charlotte on May 2, the royal couple might already be planning on having a third child, but not right away.

It seems too soon to be thinking about royal baby number 3, but that hasn’t stopped media outlets, like Sky News, from asking Prince William about the possibility of having a third child. The Duke chuckled and replied, “We’ve only just had the second one! We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future.” William’s reply doesn’t shut down the idea, but it’s what anyone would expect as an answer to a very personal question. The Duke of Cambridge went on to sing the praises of Kate saying, “Katherine’s done an amazing job as a mother and I’m very proud of her.”

A third royal baby seems like it’s been a plan of William and Kate’s for years, despite William’s coy answer to the question. The Telegraph reported that friends of the royal couple revealed having Prince George and Princess Charlotte only two years apart was all part of their plan the Kate and William have had in mind for several years. The report explained, “The royal couple reportedly decided to have their first two children less than two years apart because they intend to have a third child before Kate turns 35.”

Kate is currently 33, so that means within two years Kate Middleton could be pregnant for the third time. The Duchess might be trying to replicate her close family, to provide her children with the same experience she had growing up. Since the birth of Prince George, Kate has been very focused on raising her children with a strong sense of family, making sure her middle class Middleton family have a firm place in their lives.

The arrival of third baby would only cement Kate and the Middleton’s place in the royal family, not to mention royal baby fever boosting the economy. According to Reuters, it was estimated that Kate Middleton’s first pregnancy boosted the UK’s economy by $380 million. The Telegraph estimated Princess Charlotte’s birth would bring in more money, thanks to impacting the fashion industry over a longer period of time.

It might also mean morning money for Prince William and Kate. Thanks to details of Clarence House’s Annual Review, we learned Prince Charles gave the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge an allowance of nearly $4.7 million last year. That number increased from previous years, which conveniently coincided with the report by People that Charles was getting more access to his grandchildren.

What do you think of a royal baby number 3 for Prince William and Kate Middleton? Will the royal couple have a third child, and if so, will it be soon?
