Kate Middleton Visits The Set Of Downton Abbey - Duchess of Cambridge Looks Happy in Photos

Kate Middleton was forced to make another public appearance March 12 – this time at the popular show Downton Abbey and The Duchess of Cambridge looks happy in photos of the event. Kate Middleton is either superhuman, or has access to a royals-only energy boost that is probably concocted from the blood and tears of all of Camilla Parker-Bowles’ enemies. At this point, the eight-month pregnant Duchess has been making public appearance after public appearance, often back to back from each other. I doubt that the doctors and physicians on staff at Kensington Palace have approved this sort of rigorous working pace, especially not in Kate’s third trimester and ESPECIALLY not a few weeks away from her due date!

Kate’s latest appearance was at London’s Ealing Studios, for her highly publicized visit to the set of Downton Abbey. According to reports, Kate just watched a quick scene being shot for the show and met a few of the actors and writers. She also visited the hair and makeup department, the wardrobe department, received a set tour, and was presented with a special Downton Abbey cake from catering. At the end of the event, she posed for an official photocall with the cast and crew, and it was clearly from all the images that this is one of the few events that Kate was actually actively engaged in.

However, even though this particular event didn’t seem particularly taxing for Kate Middleton [she’s a big fan of Downton Abbey], I have no doubt that all the public appearances are getting to her. She has a few more to go, and there have been rumors that she’s nearing the point of total exhaustion. However, the royals won’t accept that as an excuse, not when she vacations for 50 percent of the year, at least. They’re going to take full advantage of Kate’s baby bump and the fact that she’s eight months pregnant, even if that means they treat as a show horse, not the mother to the future heir.
