Kate Middleton Grumpy at Westminster Abbey and Margate Art Gallery Displays Baby Bump Unwillingly - Queen Elizabeth Not Pleased

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William gathered with other members of the royal family to observe Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey on Monday, March 9. Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, were all in attendance. Kate Middleton looked radiant and was all smiles at the event, but that doesn’t mean she was happy to be there. The rumors say that Kate might be facing pressure from Queen Elizabeth to stay in the media spotlight.

The birth of royal baby number two may be only a month away, but Kate Middleton continues to make appearances. Perhaps Queen Elizabeth hopes that by parading around the popular Prince William and Kate, she can draw attention away from the more scandalous royals. After all, Prince Andrew’s sex scandal is still fresh in the minds of most Brits and several other royals don’t exactly have squeaky clean records. It seems the prim and proper Prince William and Kate Middleton are the only ones who can cool things off when the royals get in hot water.

However, Queen Elizabeth may be asking a bit too much of Kate. It’s well known that Kate hasn’t had the easiest of pregnancies. Kate suffered with debilitating nausea early on and though her condition has improved, it may not be a good idea for her to be out and about when she’s set to give birth so soon. Will Kate put her foot down on the issue or will she just have to grin and bear it? Word has it that Kate wants to stop all the media appearances and get ready for the new royal baby boy or girl. This could be one of the last forced public appearances before Kate gives birth—that is if Queen Elizabeth will allow Kate Middleton to step back for a while. If Queen Elizabeth had her way, she’d probably have Kate smiling and waving right up until her contractions start. Hopefully, Kate can take a break from the spotlight and prepare for the birth of the royal baby in peace.

What do you think about the news that Kate Middleton’s still doing media appearances in this late stage of her pregnancy? Is Queen Elizabeth pushing the Duchess of Cambridge too far? Will the Commonwealth Day appearance be Kate’s last one before her due date? Of course Kate Middleton was just as grumpy at Margate Art Gallery in another forced public appearance when where The Duchess of Cambridge wants to be is at her mom’s house in Bucklebury relaxing.
