We knew this would not be good. We reported earlier in the month that Kim Richards was seeking to leave rehab early so that she would be able to attend her daughter’s wedding. Richards, who checked herself into rehab, has been struggling with alcohol and substance abuse problems and was working towards sobriety, however she wanted to leave the rehab center early to see her daughter wed for the second time. The staff at the rehab facility urged Richards not to leave and highly suggested that she stay in rehab until all parties believes that she was ready to face the world.
Now, multiple sources have told TMZ that Kim Richards did, in fact, attend her daughter’s wedding over the weekend, but that the reality star had a break down. The sources say that it was very apparent that Kim was either on drugs or extremely drunk – totally intoxicated. One source goes onto reveal that whatever Kim drank, or used, was taken in private, but when she spoke with people at the wedding she was “a mess.”
The sources go on to tell TMZ that Kim said very nasty things to her daughter Brooke immediately after the wedding, causing a split between Kim and her daughter. Brooke has apparently vowed not to speak to her mom ever again.
Unfortunately, it only gets worse for Richards. Brooke has given up on her mother, but according to the sources, Kim’s sober coach has given up on Richards as well, and has decided to quit. According to TMZ, Richards’ sober coach quit immediately after the wedding and left Richards in Mexico all alone. Richards’ sober coach was supposed to stay with Kim until Monday, May 25, when the two were supposed to return to the rehab facility together, but after Kim’s actions at the wedding, the sober coach bailed. TMZ’s sources reveal that Kim is still in Cabo and that she has fallen off the radar. She was supposed to return to rehab on Monday, but has not been back as of Tuesday, May 26.
