We recently reported that Kim Richards had checked herself into rehab indefinitely, and that she was seeking the help that she needed to take back control of her life. A source revealed to TMZ that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had decided to enter into a live-in rehab facility in Malibu, that focuses on substance abuse.
This decision came after Kim Richards was arrested for public intoxication. The source at the venue says, “She became loud, yelling and laughing at there people. She was slurring, and people were moving away because they didn’t want to be on the receiving end of her comments. She was past the point of being reasonable.”
Unfortunately, Kim Richards may just be past the point of no return. A source has recently revealed to Radar that Kim Richards may be leaving rehab early, even though her doctors are advising her against this decision.
Richards wants to leave the country to attend her daughter Brooke Brinson’s second wedding in Mexico, but the staff at the Malibu treatment center are begging the reality star not to leave yet. Richards has threatening to completely leave the treatment facility if they cannot reach a compromise.
The insider alleges, “The facility doesn’t want to send a staffer to Mexico with Kim for Brooke’s wedding next weekend. Kim just isn’t ready to be out in the world yet, but she is refusing to listen to any of the advice.”
Despite their suggestions, Kim is having none of it. The sources goes on to say, “Kim said if the rehab won’t send a staffer, she will just leave. Members of Kim’s treatment team want her to stay in rehab for 90 days, but she is balking.”
The source ends their claims by saying, “Kim keeps breaking down in tears in front of the staff lamenting she can’t miss her daughter’s wedding, even though Brooke was already married last summer! Kim is living in her own world, and hasn’t surrendered to the fact that she needs help.”
It seems like Kim Richards does not really want the help that she requires to get better. If she checks herself out of rehab, we are sure that things will go poorly for the reality star.
