It’s official, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have called off their divorce and are giving their marriage a second chance! When Lamar Odom was rushed to the hospital last week after an apparent overdose – it was unclear what exactly the status of their divorce was. After nearly three years of separation, Khloe and Lamar had both signed divorce papers, but they weren’t set to be signed by a judge for another month or so. Technically Khloe really was still Lamar’s wife.
Since Lamar’s near death incident, Khloe hasn’t left his side – recently she had him airlifted to a Cedars-Sinai hospital in California because she thought her husband would receive better care than he was at the Las Vegas hospital. Although Lamar has made huge improvements, it is still not clear exactly how much damage was done when he was not breathing on his own, and only time will tell the extents of the rehab he will need.
Regardless, Khloe Kardashian will be by Lamar Odom’s side. According to a new report Khloe and Lamar signed a legal document to cancel their divorce – and submitted it to the judge. TMZ reveals, “Khloe’s lawyer Laura Wasser went before a judge Wednesday morning, asking a judge to withdraw the papers they both signed to end their marriage. The file was sitting in a pile waiting to be processed and signed by a judge. The judge granted Wasser’s request and the file is now dead.”
So, Khloe and Lamar are officially a married couple again – and they are planning on giving their relationship another chance. Lamar obviously is feeling like he has a new lease on life after narrowly escaping death, and Khloe apparently realized how much she still loved him after she nearly lost him.
