Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s messy break-up and divorce has already been dragged out for months. Since Nick confirmed on social media that he and the singer had called it quits – the once happily married couple have been bickering over everything from their dogs to their twins Moroccan and Monroe. We can now confirm that Nick Cannon went to court and quietly filed for divorce on December 12th 2014, which would explain Mariah’s sudden spiral downward. While Nick has been out partying with his new rumored girlfriend Amber Rose – Mariah has been hitting the champagne excessively and showing up late for gigs and botching performances.
It’s no secret that Mariah Carey likes to drown her pain with a gallon of champagne, but apparently the diva is much more human than we realized – and she drunk dials her old exes just like the rest of us! According to the January 26th edition of Star Magazine, Mariah Carey has been blowing up her old flame Eminem’s phone at all hours of the night. For those of you who don’t remember, Eminem crossed paths with Mariah in 2001 and was rumored to be hooking up with the diva. Mariah vehemently denied the rumors – which only infuriated the unpredictable rapper so he played her embarrassing voicemails live on stage at one of his concerts to prove that he had been sleeping with her. Mariah became the butt of many jokes in his songs, and even caused a public war of words between Eminem and Nick Cannon.
An insider snitched to Star, saying, “Lately, Mariah has been so desperate for male attention that she actually reached out to Eminem, trying to hook up. But, Eminem found it laughable and turned her down. The fact that Mariah is lonely enough to go after a guy that publicly bashed her says a lot about her mental state. Right now she is just looking for anyone who will give her a little TLC.”
