Omarion is fuming after the 2016 Grammy Nominations were announced and the Post To Be singer is so mad over being snubbed that he went off in an angry Twitter tirade. Fresh from his last season on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, Omarion really must have thought he’d be a sure thing for a best R&B song nod but when the former B2K singer didn’t see his song on the Grammy list, he went ballistic on Twitter and it was epic.
When Post To Be didn’t show up on the Grammy nominations list, Omarion angrily tweeted, ‘”Post to be” is one of the greatest R&B collaborations ever. CB, Jhene, & myself been in the game 10+.’ Apparently Twitter didn’t agree because frankly, the song isn’t that great. That didn’t stop Omarion though and he continued to tweet at least half a dozen more times.

“Even though people act like its easy to make a hit (& it’s not). As an artist you look forward to being acknowledged by the game.” It’s crazy how much Omarion sounds like Kanye West during more awards shows than we can count. Maybe the former B2K singer was on one of those childhood little league teams that gives a participation trophy to everyone, no matter how bad they play. That’s not how the Grammy Awards word though so maybe someone should clue the singer in.

Omarion tried to explain why he was so upset by the perceived Grammy snub by tweeting, “The odds have always been against me. I constantly prove you wrong. I’ll consistently do great things & you will have to celebrate me.” Then he followed up immediately with this gem, “This isn’t a ‘im upset’ (post to be) rant. This is a- ok so that wasn’t good enough. I’ll be back. Have my Grammy’s ready.” It’s okay, we know it’s a rant and we’re pretty sure that Omarion is very upset. The string of angry tweets started just after 6:30 a.m. and from the looks of it, Omarion thought he’d wake up to great Grammy nomination news but when he realized that Post To Be was completely ignored by the powers that be, he went on a Kanye-esque rant about how great the next release will be and how everyone will have to honor his greatness.

The game has long changed since I was introduced to it. They want to still treat me like I’m a new to this. My moment is coming trust.

So when it’s all said & done. Remember. I prophesied it. It’s my destiny. I was destined. Chosen. — OMARION (@1Omarion) December 7, 2015
It was at this point where Omarion realized that many of his social media followers were laughing at the outburst. That’s when the former B2K singer switched gears and asked his fans about which other R&B songs out there didn’t have a rapper on the track. There’s really no point in even discussing why that logic doesn’t even matter when it comes to Grammy nods but then again, neither does the amount of time an artist has been in the game.
The ousted reality star is still rambling about the snub and even pointed out that his Post To Be single was viewed over 300 million times on YouTube as another reason the singer felt he deserved a nomination. Someone needs to clue Omarion in on how it works when awards shows celebrate true talent and great music rather than letting the poor guy think that if he just sticks around long enough and doesn’t collaborate with rappers that he has earned himself some attention at the 2016 Grammy Awards.
