RECAP:

People in gas masks walk down into a plant of some sort. When they get inside, Dr. Deaton removes his mask. He’s accompanied by someone. Dr. Deaton asks the man if he believes the stories about this place. The man starts talking about the mythos behind this place, an old nuclear plant that has been overtaken by nature. He proceeds to talk about individuals in masks who would experiment on people. There’s a sign on the wall in Russian It reads: They come. They come for all of us.

Dr. Deaton locates a tooth in the laboratory. Deaton says that he seems to have located what he’s come for – and he suggests they leave. Now. The man Deaton is with is shot. A woman is behind the gun. The woman says that she knows Deaton has skills but that she’s pretty certain that she can shoot before he can pull anything out.

She says, “Do you know who I am?”

Deaton says, “I don’t know who you are. But I know what you’re called. Desert Wolf.”

Oh snap. This lady is actually the woman who has been serving as the Beacon Hills High AP Bio teacher.

Malia and Scott are running from something in the woods.

Melissa tells Sheriff Stilinski that he needs to come in and look at something inside her house – the girl who’s been stabbed with Kira’s sword. Immediately, he calls for backup. Melissa slaps him because she’s angry. He says that this is murder, a crime, and that somebody needs to answer for it.

Meanwhile, Kira is walking down the middle of the road. She seems to be sleepwalking. Hayden’s sister, Clarke, a deputy, pulls up behind her and asks if she needs any help. She tells her that she’ll get her home. As soon as she puts Kira in the car, she handcuffs and radios that she has the suspect in question.

Theo and Stiles are dealing with the aftermath of the Jeep catching fire. Theo says that Stiles should get to the hospital after taking in so much smoke. They hear something over the police scanner. Kira’s name comes up and it’s associated with a homicide investigation. She’s currently wanted under suspicion for killing the girl found in the McCall home.

Parrish is in the shower when he gets a phone call. It’s from Clarke. She tells him to get to the station, that Stilinski is calling everyone in.

Stilinski has Kira at the station. He tells someone to get these handcuffs off her, that if she did kill that girl, it was all in self-defense. Next, Mr. and Mrs. Yukimura barge into the station. They’re here to protect her. Mr. Y tells Sheriff S that it was he who killed the girl – all in self-defense. Of course, he didn’t actually kill this girl, and Stilinski asks him if this is the story he’s going to stick to. Mrs. Yukimura says, “Are you prepared to tell a different one?”

Scott’s at the station talking with Kira, whose father is currently being taken into custody. They need to talk to some lawyers.

Stiles, Malia, and Theo all meet at Scott’s house. Mason and Lydia are trying to help Cory, who’s also a suspected chimera, remember his experience with the Dread Doctors by having him read the book. Scott barges in and says they don’t have time for any of this. He digs his claws into the boy’s neck and his eyes glow red – probably all in an effort to absorb his memories/experiences.

Liam and Hayden are still trapped in the Dread Doctors’ hidden lab.

Meanwhile, Sheriff S and Melissa are fighting about her statement. She talks about all the supernatural stuff that’s been happening in Beacon Hills. He gets angry with her for telling the truth – the whole truth – when all he’s trying to do is figure stuff out.

Clarke comes in and says that two people were logged in the library after hours: Theo and Stiles. Sheriff S says that he’ll take care of it and tells Melissa that there’s no more bending the rules – for anyone. Melissa says that perhaps someone should learn how to bend a little before someone snaps.

Scott’s memory retrieval experiment appears to have been successful. He says that he caught a glimpse of their place – a tunnel-like environment with pipes running along the walls. Stiles says that he thinks he recognizes this place. It looks like the place where he used to skateboard when he was younger. They identify it as the Water Treatment Plant.

Hayden and Liam are trapped in a cell. Liam goes to grab the fencing trapping them, but he gets electrocuted. A guy says that he should’ve warned them about this. He introduces himself as Zack. He wants them to look at his back, as the doctors seem to have extracted something from it and now there’s a strange feeling about him. He pulls up his shirt and reveals to stump-like forms that flutter. Looks like wings that have been moved.

Mason, Malia, and Scott head to find Liam and Hayden.

Meanwhile, everyone in the sheriff’s department is guarding this new dead chimera – hoping to catch whomever is responsible for stealing them. Ironically, Parrish, the guy who doesn’t know he’s stealing and burning the failed experiments, is guarding the body in the morgue.

The gang arrives at the Water Treatment Plant.

Scott can’t catch a scent because of all the chemicals blocking his power.

Stiles arrives at the hospital to talk with his dad. He encourages them to leave the body alone and to let the person take it. Stiles’ dad asks him about the key cards. Stiles tries to cover it up by saying everyone has after hours access and that his keycard was lost/stolen recently.

The Dread Doctors come for Zack, who starts to ooze mercury. Prior, Zack had said that’ when they consider you a failed experiment – when you bleed silver.

Scott and Co. run through the facility in an effort to find them. They aren’t having much luck. But Scott thinks he hears something – the strange frequency flickering that’s become associated with the Dread Doctors’ movement.

Cory tries to leave Scott’s house. Theo tells him not to, and that he needs to remember something else. He remembers the tunnels and then a basement-like place. This strikes Theo, who remembers that the werewolf with the large blue talons busted out of a place like this.

Meanwhile, Kira makes some progress reading the Dread Doctors book. Her mother told her that if the story itself is confusing the fox inside her that perhaps she should stop trying to read the story – so she suggests that she read it backwards. This seems to have worked. She has a vision of her experience with the Docs. We see them forcing a rod into her eyeball during the storm – lightning strikes and a flickering light floats out of her mouth.

At the hospital, Stiles throws away his keycard.

The hospital falls into chaos. It grows hot and it seems to be under attack.

Liam and Hayden hear someone coming. It’s Theo. Theo runs up to the fence and grabs it. He gets electrocuted.

Theo wakes up and goes back to the fence. He battles through the electricity and pries open the fencing.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, the body has been stolen. Parrish goes up to Sheriff S and tells him that he thinks he may have seen the suspect steal the body.

Theo has Liam and Hayden safe in the car. They drive home. Liam kisses Hayden and takes away the pain caused by her wound.

The gang meets up back home.

Kira’s packing her bag. Scott visits her. She says that it was the night of the big storm – what the docs did to her – and that she has to leave so as to avoid hurting any more people. She says she’s not sure what the answer is – but that she’s pretty certain she won’t find it here. Scott asks her about her father, and she says the department had to let him go since there was no body to be found.

Scott doesn’t want her to go. She asks him to look at her with his “other” eyes. He does, they glow a fierce red, and he sees the giant wolf energy consuming Kira’s surrounding aura. Eventually, she drives off and away from Beacon Hills.

Scott’s resting on the floor and his mother comes in. He says that something has changed, that something is off with him and his friends – and he thinks it’s because of him.

Stiles found Parrish’s name badge and tells Lydia that he believes – rather, knows – that he’s the one behind the body snatching. Lydia says that she knows where he’s taking the bodies. She doesn’t tell Stiles this, but she knows that he’s probably taking them to the Nematon, as that was at the center of the dream that he told Lydia about a few episodes back.

Meanwhile, back at the nuclear power plant in what I think is Russia, the Dessert Wolf interrogates Dr. Deaton. She asks him where she might find her daughter. She heard that she’s still alive. She says that if this is the case, then she’d like to find her – so she can kill her again.
