“Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers and coming and going news confirmed at the end of 2014 that Kim Matula was quitting the CBS soap and her character, Hope Logan, was exiting the canvas and heading to Europe after her tragic miscarriage. Hope Logan was a central character on “Bold and the Beautiful” and Kim Matula decided to quit the soap out of the blue – leaving a lot of the character’s storylines hanging in the balance. Showrunner Bradley Bell revealed in an interview that Hope Logan’s exit to Europe would only be temporary – and they would be recasting the role and bringing her back.
Since “Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers and coming and goings confirmed that Kim Matula would be replaced and TPTB would be recasting the character Hope Logan, the soap opera has been mum on what actresses are up for the part or when exactly they plan to bring Hope back. But that hasn’t stopped rumors from flying around and possible Hope Logan recasts named to be dropped.
Recently, “General Hospital” actress Kristen Alderson quit the ABC soap and dyed her hair blonde – sparking rumors that she had been nabbed to play Hope Logan on “Bold and the Beautiful.” Alderson quickly took to social media and shot down the rumors, insisting that she was not joining any other soaps. However, she wasn’t the only “General Hospital” actress rumored to be joining the B&B cast as Hope Logan. Spoilers have been teasing for months now that GH alum Julie Marie Berman is in talks with CBS for the role of Hope Logan; however, no one from the CBS soap has confirmed nor denied it.
Another popular rumor is that “Days of Our Lives” alum Chrishell Stause may be tapped as Kim Matula’s replacement. She recently wrapped up her storyline on the NBC soap – and she is close to CBS executives because she is dating Justin Hartley and best friends with Melissa Claire Egan.
