“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, October 13, tease that Adam (Justin Harltey) will deliver a heartfelt apology as everyone gathers for Delia’s (Sophie Pollono) tree planting. Unfortunately, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) won’t approve of Adam’s performance. Chloe will pull out a gun and imply that she wants revenge.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will jump in front of Adam and plead with Chloe to think of Delia. She wouldn’t want Chloe to get justice like this. As Chloe breaks down in tears, Victor (Eric Braeden) will take the gun away from her.
Once everyone else departs, Adam will ask Chelsea if they can start over. Chelsea will reply that she didn’t step in front of that gun for Adam’s sake. It was about protecting Chloe and Delia. As far as Chelsea is concerned, Adam should go back to jail. After Chelsea leaves, Victor will insist jail is exactly where Adam is headed if he doesn’t stop the Paragon Project. Victor held up his end of the bargain by twisting the judge’s arm and paying the bail. Now it’s Adam’s turn to do what he promised.
Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will offer Chloe some support as she tries to calm down. Chloe will admit that killing Adam wouldn’t be worth losing the most important thing in her life. Kevin will ask what that is and Chloe will claim it’s her freedom- but is it really her daughter?
Kevin won’t be certain that Chloe is telling him everything. There appears to be more underneath the surface. When Kevin recounts the story to Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan), Kyle will hint that Kevin’s jealous of the fact that Chloe has moved on.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Billy (Burgess Jenkins) will talk to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about Chloe’s disturbing behavior. Billy will suggest that things might be easier for Chloe if she had another child. Later, Billy will hear Chloe talking on the phone as she comes out of her suite.
Chloe will ask the person on the other end if he or she will keep “her” for a few more days. Billy will catch Chloe by surprise and ask who she’s talking about. Could Chloe have another daughter? After all, when Chloe left Genoa City, she took a cup of Billy’s sperm with her that she had stolen from a fertility clinic. It sounds like Chloe has been trying to build a new life for herself, but she’s still clearly still struggling with the loss of Delia.
At the lake house, Neil (Kristoff St. John) will give Gwen (Nadine Nicole) the news that she’s no longer going to be a part of his scheme. Neil will make sure Gwen leaves no trace behind. No one can know Gwen was there. Gwen will try to protest, but Neil will tell her to go. Neil will declare that he’s done with all this and he’s calling the cops.
At the athletic club, Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) will mull over the ransom notes. They’ll wonder if the kidnapper will tell them where Hilary (Mishael Morgan) is. Cane will be angry that Dylan (Steve Burton) messed everything up with his ploy in the park.
When another note comes, Cane will open it up and take a look. Meanwhile, Paul (Doug Davidson) will wonder what’s up with Dylan and Devon (Bryton James). They’re keeping him out of the loop. Dylan will want Paul to show a little trust.
Dylan and Devon will arrive at the athletic club to get updates on the latest note. Devon will get fed up and decide he has to take action. When Devon calls the number on the note, the man who picks up will say it’s too late. Devon will insist that he has to get Hilary back. A short time later, Devon and Dylan will show up at the lake house. It looks like Devon is ready to barge in, but Y&R rumors hint that Neil may get a lucky break. Stick with the CBS soap to see if Neil can get out of this jam.
