“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 29, promise a new shocking mystery that has no easy explanation. Y&R spoilers tease that Gwen (Nadine Nicole) will get curious about what Neil’s (Kristoff St. John) hiding. Gwen will eavesdrop in the park as Neil urges the pilot to leave town. Later, Gwen will question her sister about what was stolen when her badge went missing. Several nutrition bags were taken from the supply room.
Gwen will call Neil and he’ll continue lying to her about being out of town on a business trip. Finally, Gwen will decide to get to the bottom of things by taking a trip back to the lake house. Neil will be stunned when Gwen shows up to find him with Hilary (Mishael Morgan). It sounds like Neil is going to have a tough time getting out of this one.
Meanwhile, Noah (Robert Adamson) will rip into Victor (Eric Braeden) for orchestrating the Jack (Peter Bergman) swap and putting everyone in danger. Victor will insist that Noah doesn’t know the whole story. Jack will agree that Victor made some poor decisions, but exposing the truth would just cause more trouble. The cops will arrive to arrest Jack and he’ll be taken to the police station.
It seems Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) tried to intervene when Billy (Burgess Jenkins) was arrested. They were all taken in as well. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will show up and give them the news that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) is behind the Paragon Project. Paul (Doug Davidson) will be confused since Ian is supposed to be in prison, but he’ll agree to look into the matter.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Adam (Justin Hartley) will lash out at Ian for running around town and getting cozy with Phyllis. Adam will declare that they’re calling off the Paragon Project. Ian will reply that the virus is indestructible and there’s no stopping it now. Besides, Ian wants to finish what they started.
Adam will think there has to be a way to get rid of it and he’ll suggest they get their laptops. When Adam turns his back, Ian will hit him over the head to knock him out. After Adam wakes up, he’ll call Ian and leave him a threatening message. It’s clear that Ian has gotten on Adam’s bad side, but there may not be much Adam can do at this point – the die is cast – Adam is in a world of trouble as fans will see as the week unfolds. Y&R rumors hint that Ian doesn’t plan on backing down.
Paul will tell the Abbotts that the charges are being dropped and he’ll mull over the puzzling situation with Ian. After learning about Ian’s involvement from Phyllis, Victor will head to the prison hospital where Ian should be. The warden will insist that Ian’s there and he’ll retrieve him. Ian (or a man who resembles him exactly) will appear. Something fishy is obviously going on. Are we dealing with yet another lookalike? “Doppelgangers R Us” is always open for business.
