“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers are in, and the man’s identity behind the devil mask will be revealed on Wednesday, November 4. The devil seems to have an axe to grind with the Newman’s and possibly the Abbotts. When the devil was unmasked – he revealed his identity. He is none other than Ian Ward [Ray Wise] and he want to kill Adam Newman [Justin Hartley]!
When you think about it, Ian Ward is the perfect person to pull off this type of scheme. He has an axe to grind with Victor [Eric Braeden], Adam and Jack Abbott [Peter Bergman]. He has proven over and over that he will stop at nothing to get his way. Ian has never cared if children’s lives were at stake – so the threat of kids dying in the fire wouldn’t phase him, not one bit.
Ian felt angry with Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] for turning her back on him. He felt like they had a connection, and he tried to pull her away from Jack. Victor and Ian have a long history of trying to get the best of each other. The real target appears to have been Adam; of course, if Victor perished in the blaze that would be a two for the one deal for Ian.
Are there are two devils unleashing havoc in Neman Towers. One of definitely is Ian Ward. The second devil’s identity has not been revealed yet – if there is a second devil. It is possible [probable even] that Ian’s secret partner is Gabriel Bingham. The two would have a HUGE axe to grind with the Newman family as a whole.
