The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Adam Newman is Sage’s baby daddy and life is about to lots more complicated and difficult for several Y&R characters. Sage Warner [Kelly Sullivan] got the Paternity results back and she is not a happy camper. Her worst nightmare has just begun. While there will be a few DNA twists and turns along the way due to Adam and Nick being 1/2 brothers, the horrible end result is coming! ADAM [Justin Hartley] IS THE FATHER! Who will this affect the most? The only person Sage seems to care about these days is Nicholas Newman [Joshua Morrow] so we can safely assume IF Nick finds out he will dump her faster than you can say Adam Newman. But of course she will never tell Nick the truth about the baby, let alone ever admitting she slept with Gabe Bingham [Justin Hartley] who Nick despises so much, but hates Adam even more – so it is a no win for ol’ Sage.
Sage reacts the way Sage always reacts with drama & panic and instead of telling ANYONE about this revelation she stays true to her sneaky character and keeps the true paternity to herself. The tides have turned, Ms Warner, you can now worry yourself sick about the truth just as you have held Adam’s true identity over his head causing him endless days of grief. Now you can worry about Nicholas & Adam finding out the true identity of your baby.
The bottom line is Sage’s kid is a Newman no matter which way she cuts it – the only difference is will the baby be adored by all or shunned because of who the father is? Sage’s character’s lies just keep piling up and there will be a breaking point. It will start when Adam’s identity comes to light then spiral out of control with lie after lie being exposed. BUT Ms Warner will have one ace in the hole, the baby Newman. She will continue to let Nick think he is the baby daddy which will protect her to a point when her other lies come to light – Nick will be more likely to overlook her massive shortcomings because he will think he is the baby daddy.
There is one lie that no one will be able to overlook and that is the one about Delia’s [Sophie Pollono] death. There is great likelihood that Sage had her hand in that horrible accident and the light will shine on her eventually. That is a long time coming because Adam’s identity has to be revealed first and then Nick has to find out she was behind the whole identity swap on brother Adam. Then the truth about Delia’s death will finally come out and by then she will have gotten comfortable being part of the prestigious Newman clan.
Sage better stay calm because her pregnancy has already been a high risk one, she will need this golden egg to secure her spot in the filthy rich Newman fold. It looks like we might as well get used to seeing Sage Warner because there is a whole lot of story for her in the coming year and it is confirmed the actress Kelly Sullivan has signed a contract with Y&R.
