“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, July 22, tease that Marisa (Sofia Pernas) will give Victor (Eric Braeden) updates on what happened with Jack (Peter Bergman). Marisa will also admit she overheard Marco (Peter Bergman) discussing the plan to set up Victor. Marisa will mention that Victor seems glad to hear that Jack is still alive. Victor will question her about Marco, but Marisa will say he’s at the bottom of the lake. Marisa will vow to keep Victor and Marco’s scheme a secret. Victor will insist that Marisa needs to leave Genoa City, but she won’t be interested. Victor will think she wants to make a move on Noah (Robert Adamson), but Marisa will say they’re just good friends.
In her hospital room, Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be irritated that Stitch (Sean Carrigan) is taking so long. At the park, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Stitch will lean in for a kiss, but a phone ring will interrupt. Stitch will answer it and say they need to head to the hospital. Once they arrive, they’ll learn that Jack has had another episode. Stitch will be concerned that everyone has been pushing Jack too hard. When he’s alone with Jack, Stitch will ask him to squeeze his hand. Jack will open his eyes and start to talk. However, Jack will want Stitch to keep quiet about the fact that he’s awake. Stitch won’t like the idea, but he’ll agree.
Meanwhile, Abby will put her clothes on and leave the hospital. Ashley will see Abby at Newman-Abbott and voice her displeasure. Abby will mention her frustration with Stitch and Ashley will reply that he got called to the hospital for Jack. Abby will feel a little guilty about giving Stitch such a hard time on the voicemail she left him. Ashley will let Abby know that focusing too much on work can lead to missed opportunities in love.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers reveal that Stitch will call Victor to the hospital at Jack’s request. Victor will ask Jack if it’s really him. Jack will open his eyes and jolt up. It’s clear that these two are about to have a major war of words. Nearby, Abby will tell Stitch she’s sorry about earlier and Ashley will watch them share a loving moment. Across town, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) will give Summer (Hunter King) the news that Avery (Jessica Collins) is leaving Genoa City. The discussion will shift to what might happen if the feud between Jack and Victor is reignited. Summer will be worried about her relationship with Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan), but Phyllis will think they can make it work.
At The Underground, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) will admit they did a background check on Marisa. Noah will be outraged and assume they’re just trying to keep him from moving on too quickly. Kevin will say Marisa was tied to murdering drug dealer. Noah will say he already knows that her ex-boyfriend was mixed up with Marco. Kevin will correct him and say that Marisa’s ex-boyfriend IS Marco.
Noah will go for a walk with Marisa to clear things up. Marisa will say her relationship with Marco is in the past, but there’s something Noah needs to know. Y&R rumors hint that Marisa may help the cabin crew crack the case. Stay tuned to the CBS soap to see if we’ll finally get this mystery solved.
