American Ninja Warrior, NBC’s obstacle course competition airs tonight with an all Monday, July 18 season 8 episode 7 called “Atlanta Finals,” and we’ve got your American Ninja Warrior recap down below! On tonight’s episode, the top 30 competitors from the Atlanta qualifier tackle an even more challenging course that features 10 obstacles, including the Salmon Ladder, Floating Monkey Bars, Clacker and Invisible Ladder.

On the last episode, “American Ninja Warrior” traveled back to Universal Studios’ “New York Street” where the top 30 competitors from the Los Angeles Qualifier tackle the City Finals course. On tonight’s episode per the NBC synopsis, “American Ninja Warrior” returns to Atlanta, Georgia where the top 30 competitors from the City Qualifier tackle an even more challenging course that includes ten obstacles in the City Finals. In addition to the six already difficult obstacles from the Atlanta Qualifier, contestants will also face the Salmon Ladder, Floating Monkey Bars, The Clacker and Invisible Ladder.

Top competitors Neil “Crazy” Craver, Drew Dreschel and Travis Rosen will take on the course. The competitors will vie for a chance to compete in the Las Vegas finals, to win a cash prize of $1,000,000 and the title of “American Ninja Warrior.”

Tonight’s episode of “American Ninja Warrior: Atlanta Finals” features 30 competitors who will face a 10-obstacle course.

Tonight’s first competitor is firefighter Eddy Stewart who is defeated early on by the Spin Cycle. Up next is Joey Greene who impressed the crowd with an upside-down move on the Pipefitter but was unable to conquer the Warped Wall.

During the break, Bobby Bohannon was taken down by the Big Dipper and Chris Moore was defeated by the Pipefitter.

Brent Ruffin, had a solid start but failed to make the dismount off the Pipefitter. Chad Hohn, who cut his head during the Orlando course, was unable to conquer the Salmon Ladder.

Gymnastics coach Tyler Martin moves through the obstacles with incredible speed, making it the farthest of any competitor so far tonight until being defeated by the Floating Monkey Bars.During the break, Jeff Harvey, who had close calls throughout the course, lost his battle with the Salmon Ladder. Shawn Richardson was the next competitor to attempt the course, but fell short on The Clacker obstacle. Next up was crowd-favorite Caleb Watson who was taken down in the second obstacle, the Big Dipper.

On the break, Neil Craver and Chris Boehm both qualified for Vegas before being taken down by the Floating Monkey Bars.

James McGrath is the next competitor to try his luck on the course, wowing the crowd with his effortless completion of the course, earning tonight’s fastest completion time. McGrath’s roommate Drew Dreschel was up next and also completed the course with the second fastest time.
