It looks as though Beyonce and Jay-Z might be adopting a second child giving their daughter Blue Ivy the little brother or sister she both wants and needs. In fact, several reports indicate that the power couple are looking to adopt a child of their own.
According to OK! Magazine, Beyonce and Jay-Z are hoping that by adopting a child it will give Blue Ivy and permanent in-house play date, but that it will possibly help fix the rough patch in their marriage, as their divorce rumors have been making headlines for months now.
One source close to the couple dished, “They always planned on having more than one child, and they don’t want a huge age gap between Blue Ivy and the baby. Beyonce loved being pregnant, but it hasn’t happened again — and they know the clock is ticking.
They have a lot of friends who’ve adopted, like Madonna, and they think it would be great. If Beyonce isn’t pregnant soon, that’s the path they’ll go down. They’re talking about adopting a boy and maybe another girl!”
If Beyonce and Jay-Z do indeed adopt a child, this might only fuel rumors once again that their first pregnancy was with the help of a surrogate. Otherwise, fans will once again accuse Beyonce of not wanting to get pregnant simply because she doesn’t want to ruin her body.
Of course, no one knows what the real truth is behind Beyonce’s first pregnancy except the singer herself, but if she and Jay-Z do adopt, this will only give the gossip blogs and tabloid media another reason to believe that Beyonce was carrying her supposed ‘pillow’ baby during her pregnancy in 2011 with her daughter Blue Ivy.
The singer and her team were forced to deny the claims several times, but that didn’t stop the rumors at the time – or since!
Then again, Beyonce and Jay-Z have every right to adopt a child, especially one that is in need of a loving, caring and supportive family. After all, Beyonce and Jay-Z are one of the richest couples in the celebrity world and they can sure enough afford more than just one child.
