#BigBrother starts after round two and James talks to Nicole about their loss and her worry that she’ll be evicted first. Corey and Glenn come in and Nicole asks if they’re mad at her. Glenn thinks they didn’t work as a team and Corey says it looks like a castle to me.
James says at least one of them will be HOH tomorrow after the challenge. Da’Vonne talks to Tiffany who is so embarrassed and upset that she might be first out. Tiffany decides to tell her she’s Vanessa’s sister and Da’Vonne says she knew. Da’Vonne tells her to fight.
They joke about how much Vanessa cried when she was in the house. Nicole leaves the UK room and Paul tells Glenn and Corey they need to do what they have to so they can win the comp tomorrow. Paul still wants to focus on getting the vets out.
Paul tells Glenn or Corey to put two veterans on the chopping block ASAP. Corey doesn’t say this out loud, but decides that may not be his strategy. Frank asks James if he thinks the others made a pact to get them out and he says yes. Da’Vonne comes in.
James says they need to forget out how to go about this season and Frank says they need to nurture their teammates and get the others out so the numbers are more in their favor. Da’Vonne says she hopes Tiffany or Nicole wins HOH and they’re solid.
Nicole goes to talk to Corey alone and says is they both make it, who will be HOH. She tells him the first HOH always gets a lot of blood on their hands. She wants to convince him to choose her but wants him to think it’s his idea for her to have it.
Nicole says she doesn’t think Tiffany or Glenn want it either. Corey says Nicole knows what to do and she plays it off and says it won’t help her game. Nicole plays him like a fiddle. She says he doesn’t want it, but would do it if he wants since it’s better for him.
Eviction Competition Time!
Victor hosts and tells Corey, Nicole, Glenn and Tiffany they are playing for eviction. They have to climb up a tree to get coconuts to place in a little line. The problem is, the little islands they’re on will wobble so balance is a big issue.
Victor says the three winners will decide who is HOH and the one who doesn’t complete it will be immediately evicted. Nicole tries to get focus and they all check out how much it wobbles. Corey is determined not to go out first.
Tiffany says all she can think about is not being last. Glenn is “fustrated” – OMG the accent – and says he’s upset at his team. The comp starts and Tiffany tries to figure out a strategy to play it safe. Paul says he told Corey that he has to win and get HOH.
Paul wants anyone but Nicole to win it. Frank says he can tell who the newbies are out to get since they’re cheering for everyone but Nicole. Frank cheers for everyone. Glenn loses some coconuts. He realizes how hard this is and more of his roll.
Tiffany feels like her strategy is working. James sees that it’s all neck and neck but Tiffany is in the lead. Nicole has just one coconut left to get and Tiffany is also close. Nicole now just has to get her flag and creeps over. She’s the first one done with the challenge.
Victor congratulates her, as the host, and says she’s safe. Corey looks over in panic and lost a couple of his nuts. Now it’s Corey vs Glenn vs Tiffany. Paul keeps being annoying and armchair quarterbacking. Corey loses some more and Tiffany loses another.
Tiffany has just one left – she puts it in the slot and eases over to grab her flag. She’s also safe. Glenn has just one left but it’s way away from him. He gets it in and goes for his flag. Glenn goes for his flag and Corey gets his last one in.
Corey snags the flag and so does Glenn but the houseguests can’t tell who got it first. Victor announces it was a photo-finish. The first one of the two to get the flag was Corey. That means GLENN IS THE FIRST BB18 HOUSEGUEST EVICTED!
Nicole, Corey and Tiffany talk about who should take HOH and Tiffany says they can do it in fairness of who came off the island first. She says she can do it, but they have to promise not to put her up when the teams split. They make her a pinkie promise.
Victor asks for their decision and Nicole raises her hand. Frank is thrilled and says he wants to go hug her but plays it cool for the newbies. Paul says “I’m pissed” since that’s the scenario he was trying to avoid. Victor says she has to nominate two houseguests for eviction.
Victor says they can say their goodbyes to Glenn and then head back inside. His team says goodbye first then the others come over. Paul says it looked hard as hell and Glenn went out a champion in his book. Glenn tells them he’ll be watching them. #byeGlenn
They all go inside and watch his photo go black and white. Bronte says the veterans have her worried and says they are already making moves and they know how to play this game. She says they’re out for blood.
The nomination scheming begins!
Paul and Bridgette follow Corey into the kitchen to express outrage. Paul rants at Corey and says they already talked about it and says Tiffany and Nicole had already decided. He lies to cover his butt.
Paul is annoyed that he didn’t get HOH and says a newbie is going home. He totally blames Corey. James and Nicole lie in bed talking and laughing. Paulie says he can’t believe he’s in the house with them and says he watched Nicole with Cody and James last year.
James tells him he respects him as Cody’s brother. Nicole wonders if they can use him as an ally. Nicole asks if he would put her on the block and Paulie says he’s on her side. Paulie knows he’s good with the veterans.
James says he’s the “most loyalist player ever” and Nicole laughs at him. The other newbies talk. Paul, Victor, Bronte, Jozea, Bridgette, Zakiyah, and the others talk. Victor says he’ll go talk to Nicole. They sit down upstairs.
Victor tells her the newbies want to stick together and Nicole says they’re all in teams and says they’re making assumptions about the veterans and that can bite them later. Victor pulls off his shirt – looks like he’s trying to show off for her.
Victor tells her that she already had a chance to win the $500k and says Jozea is dead set on executing the veterans. Nicole wonders why he’s telling her all this and Victor says she needs to start making friends. She thinks he’s making stupid moves. Victor asks if she’s going to be okay.
James’ First Prank
James comes into the bathroom and #BBJames tells her it’s Victor and he wants to come talk to her while she’s in the shower. He asks if she has a problem with him and says he feels like she hates him and come up to make amends.
James says why are you always getting an attitude and says you know us newbies are coming after you. Nicole asks all of them and what do you want me to say. He finally says this is James, not Victor – then he says I got you and laughs.
Slop Talk!
Later, everyone goes into the kitchen and finds the containers of slop for #BBigSister. Da’Vonne reads off the announcement about them being the first #HaveNot group of the summer. They go to check tu the Have Not room. The beds are bumper cars.
It looks awful. Outside, Da’Vonne and Jozea talk and he says he’s strong and the others haven’t seen nothing yet and says he’s safe now and says he’s the messiah for the newbies. Da’Vonne is offended but saves it for the diary room.
Jozea says it just happened that way. She thinks he just put a target on his back. He says he’s good at a lot of things. Da’Vonne strokes his ego and thinks about what an idiot he is. She asks him who’s on his radar and he says originals vs vets but she doesn’t have to worry about it.
He says he’s gunning for Nicole then James and then Frank later on. Da’Vonne is taking mental notes and wonders what he’s thinking. He says the game doesn’t start until the vets are gone. WOW. These newbies seem to be dumb.
Da’Vonne goes to Nicole and tells her all the smack that Jozea is talking. She tells him Jozea is after Nicole, James, Frank and the obviously for. Nicole says she doesn’t know and Da’Vonne says Jozea needs to go. Nicole says it’s clear to her.
Da’Vonne says it’s a cutthroat season and they have to stick out their necks for each other. Corey come to talk to Corey and says she wants to check with him. She says Jozea told Day that he’s after her. Corey asks who else and she says she doesn’t know.
She says she was thinking about putting up Paulie since he can play hard and beat Jozea in the #POV. She wants to use Paulie against him. Corey says pump the brakes on that. She says she’ll only do it if Paulie is on board.
Nomination ceremony
Later, James checks out Nicole’s HOH fridge. Corey and Da’Vonner are there too with Paulie. She wants to talk to Paulie so she doesn’t alienate him. Paulie says if he was HOH, he would put up Jozea. She says with who to make sure he goes home.
Paulie says put him up next to Zakiyah and see what happens. She says they need someone strong to play against him. Frank asks Paulie if he could go to bat. He says he could do that. Nicole says she knows he’ll play POV with her.
Da’Vonne then tells Paulie they are very loyal and says she’s got him. He’s not sure about this and talks in the diary room about her putting him at risk. He says plans like this blow up. She admits that pawns do go home and has to think about.
Nicole reveals her nomination choices. She says the first one is Jozea. Then she also nominated Paulie. She tells them it wasn’t an easy decision and so she picked a strong player from each team. Paulie isn’t happy that he’s nommed the first week.
He says he hopes that this wasn’t a huge mistake. Nicole knows this is risky and says it could be terrible if he goes home. Jozea is confident and says he rules the majority of the house. Sunday will reveal the new competition and then Wednesday is POV. Then in one week it’s the first LIVE EVICTION.
