“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will continue to pursue answers in the Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) kidney mystery and Dr Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may hold the key to it all.
Josslyn’s transplant took place at General Hospital a year before Dr O debuted as a character, but her backstory predates the Jake Webber (Hudson West) faked death, so when all of the kidney story finally unfolds, GH spoilers tease Dr O is important.
This also explains why Dr Obrecht refused to help Carly and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) get a look at the personnel records for the day of the transplant. However, Carly stole them when Dr O was distracted.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will soon come to Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and tell her she’s digging into the mystery and what she found. Liz will be very upset. Will Liz agree to help Carly find out the truth since this involves Jake too?
We’ll soon see Liz go to Felix DuBois (Marc Samuel) and it may be about this mess. Even though Dr Obrecht wasn’t at GH when the kidney transplant took place, there are clues that she knows exactly what happened.
In fact, Liesl may have been the one who took the kidney out of the real donor and sent it to GH to sub in for one from Jake. Liesl may have even helped rig Jake’s death on the sly even though she wasn’t working at General Hospital at the time.
The big question, of course, is where the kidney came from – and the answer may be close to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers). Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) is a blood relative of Josslyn’s and could have been a match.
Helena could have demanded Jerry cough up a kidney and Liesl performed the surgery to extract the vital organ so it could be given to Josslyn. This facilitated Jake’s kidnapping. Is Liesl the key to unraveling this mystery?
Should it turn out that Liesl was involved, this will get ugly. Everyone at General Hospital already dislikes Liesl but if they find out she was involved in this escapade she might be done for – even Franco (Roger Howarth) may turn on her.
Since Franco is growing closer to Liz and adores little Jake, discovering that Liesl might have helped with Jake’s kidnapping could be the death blow to their weird friendship. Is Dr O’s world about to implode if these dirty secrets are exposed?
