Recent General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is misunderstood by fans, his ex-wife Alexis Davis (Nancy Grahn) and all of Port Charles. GH writers will soon reveal a stunning twist that will totally redeem Julian and get Julexis back together.
The big obstacle for GH fans and Alexis to a reunion with Julian is him trying to kill her. But what if he was secretly trying to protect Alexis and never intended to hurt her. It was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that interrupted them, but this twist reveals Alexis life was never at risk.
GH spoilers hint that Oscar Jessup (or someone using that name) has been blackmailing Julian for over a year. Last week, Julian told Ava Jerome (Maura West) that he didn’t get back into the mob business for her and she was shocked. She thought he did it to save her, but he didn’t.
“Oscar” first contacted Julian last year and blackmailed him to get back into the mob by threatening the lives of Alexis, Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), Ava and others that Julian cares about. He had no choice but to take the reins of the mob again.
We will find out soon the hold that Oscar (or someone using that name) has on Julian and why he would never have let Alexis come to harm. Julian knew they were being listened to by the cops once he found Alexis wearing a wire and that’s why he had to get her out of the house.
Julian had marching orders from his blackmailer and if he was sent to jail and couldn’t do what he was asked, Alexis and everyone else Julian cared about would have been harmed. This is not the way GH planned to go when they set everything up for Julian to try and kill Alexis.
But there has been so much backlash from Julexis fans and other fans that hate the idea of them getting back together since he tried to kill her that GH showrunners had to make a big change in his story. By rewriting the past and adding scenes we never saw, they can make Julian a hero, after the fact, instead of a villain.
Julian took Alexis to the docks to try and get her out of Port Charles – perhaps he was going to fake her death or had someone waiting to take her to safety. But he had to make it look convincing to get her away to safety. Sonny interfered, Alexis stabbed Julian, and he was arrested.
That also meant Alexis, Sam, and others were in danger once again so Julian has been bargaining with the blackmailer and promised to make it up once he was out of jail. The problem is now Julian must save Alexis from herself and the blackmailer since she’s boozing non-stop.
Julian will make Alexis take him home with her to recover from the hit and run in exchange for him not telling the cops what she did. Once they’re alone, Julian can reveal to her about the blackmail and that he never intended to harm her and was keeping her safe.
