General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sam Trapped In Fire, Jason Rushes to Rescue – Jake’s Surgery Goes Bad – Nina Wants a Kid

General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Sam in Danger as House Burns, Jason Rushes to Rescue – Jake’s Surgery Goes Bad - Nina Wants a Kid

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers for Friday February 5 indicate a red-hot cliffhanger show – Liz’s house catches fire, Jake’s surgery takes a bad turn, Sam is in danger of becoming a crispy critter and Jason must race to save his wife.

Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is hallucinating Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) visions but she’s still passed out by the leaky space heater and breathing in fumes. The house will soon catch on fire from all of this, but Sam is in no shape to get herself out of the mess.

Jason and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) get details about Jake Spencer’s (James Nigbor) surgery that scares them. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) reports complications. We know Jake was bleeding internally. Does he need a transfusion?

Is there any chance that this medical emergency will reveal some facts about his stay on Cassadine Island or give a hint that he’s not who they think? Could his blood type be a mismatch for Liz and Jason – the biological parents?

Jake will finally come out of surgery in one piece but when he wakes, he’s feeling horrible about Sam because he thinks she’s dead from her fall down the stairs. Jake will tell them that he killed Sam. Will they think for a moment it might be true based on his terrible, scary drawings?

Jason is further alarmed when he gets a call about Danny Morgan being left late at a birthday party because Sam never showed to pick him up. GH spoilers video showed Jason in a daring rescue of Sam, running into the burning house to save her. We’ll see that action start Friday.

Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) arrives in Port Charles and meets with potentially difficult patient Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). In a surprising twist, it looks like Sonny might actually like this doc – even better than he did Patrick. They’ll find some common ground.

Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) is still sweating her confrontation with Prof Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones) and Molly Lansing (Haley Pullos) snaps at her and tells her to just tell her what’s going on. Looks like Kristina will finally unburden herself and tell the truth about Parker.

Still refusing to tell the truth is Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) who will dodge any questions that her new hubby Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) has about the “Rachel” incident. Is Baxter Corbin – the guy who called her Rachel – any relation to Mike Corbin, Sonny’s dad?

That sure is an unusual last name to resurrect in a GH storyline. After all, Mike already had one secret kid in Courtney Matthews – he could certainly have another. Looks like Baxter is part of whatever sordid past the Hayden is hiding from her hubby.

When Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) tells Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) that he can’t sleep with her, she snaps and rails at him. But does Morgan mean he physically CANNOT have sex with her? Not that he doesn’t want to? Bipolar meds have a sexual dysfunction side effect in some cases.

Is Morgan’s dose so high that he’s too numb to perform? Will Kiki’s explosion result in Morgan skipping his meds so he can be with her physically? GH spoilers indicate that Morgan is due for a bipolar meltdown and this may be the event that sets off that spiral.

Franco (Roger Howarth) is shocked when Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) tells him she’s already looking for a child to adopt. Franco thought they were just opening a discussion about the possibility of a child – he didn’t think Nina was rushing out to get a baby right away.

Will Nina be able to get Franco on board with her endless optimism? Or will Franco try to slow down the process and end up crushing Nina’s feelings? Nina so wants to be a mom. If Franco won’t do this with her, it could spell trouble for their relationship.
