Kate Middleton Chooses Hollywood Premieres Over Charity Work: Queen Elizabeth Livid

Kate Middleton finally has a royal engagement that she is actually willing to do. Prince William’s wife is set to join the cast of the new film, ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’ at the Curzon Mayfair in London next month.

According to Hello Magazine, the Duchess of Cambridge will definitely help give the film the press it otherwise wouldn’t get if it weren’t for her attendance on the red carpet. Unlike other events, in which Kate usually looks tense and awkward – especially in royal engagements with her husband Prince William – she will have an opportunity to feel like the attention-seeking star she is, with all the cameras pointed in her direction. After all, that’s the one thing Kate Middleton’s managed to do flawlessly in the last five years.

But for Kate, this is the first royal engagement that she actually doesn’t mind attending simply because it’s a red carpet event. If all her obligations were this glamorous and this glitzy, then she would definitely be more willing to work, and that’s what bothers Queen Elizabeth the most.

Sure, she’s going as a patron to the charity Action on Addiction, which helps those suffering from addiction problems, but for Kate, it’s just another opportunity to show off her wardrobe and smile for the cameras. Queen Elizabeth’s number one problem with the Duchess is her attitude, of course.

Kate Middleton is more interested in being a celebrity than someone who is supposedly to help influence this world to make it a better place.

It’s without a doubt that Kate Middleton would rather rub elbows with the elite than engage in royal engagement work that only leaves her exhausted at the end of the day. Simply put, Kate thought that by marrying Prince William she would get to enjoy a life of luxury and that’s why she was hesitant to work or leave the house for that matter for the first several years of her marriage.

But now that she can’t use her pregnancies or wanting to be home with her children anymore as excuses for avoiding her royal duties, Kate has no choice but to obey the Queen Elizabeth’s strict rules – whether she likes it or not.
