Kate Middleton Forced to Spend Mother's Day With Queen Elizabeth: Carole Middleton Neglected and Hurt?

Kate Middleton may not be permitted to spend Mother’s Day with mum Carole Middleton. It seems as if Queen Elizabeth has demanded all the Royals spend the day at Buckingham Palace.

The Royal Family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will gather to celebrate what may be Queen Elizabeth’s last Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, that means Carole Middleton will be left out, yet again.

The Duchess of Cambridge is not at all happy about this unnamed Royal insiders revealed. Prince William reportedly is planning a quiet Cambridge family of four at Anmer Hall. But the second –in-line to the throne is also open to spending time with the Middleton in-laws if that’s what Kate Middleton desires.

One Palace insider divulged to HELLO!, “The Duchess of Cambridge will be spending the day privately.” This statement is a bit vague, don’t you think? It does lead one to believe that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will celebrate at home with William and Kate. But for the Royals private could mean the family gathering at Buckingham Palace out of the public eye.

Last Mother’s Day Kate Middleton was just settling in with newborn Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace. William and Kate soon left KP for the quiet of the Middleton’s Bucklebury estate in Berkshire.

It seems that Carole Middleton was able to enjoy time with her first granddaughter last Mother’s Day! Shouldn’t Queen Elizabeth be afforded the courtesy of the Cambridge’s spending the day with the Royal Family this year? Is that really too much to ask?

Perhaps the Royal family could gather for a nice brunch at Buckingham Palace. That would leave Kate and William free to visit with the Middleton’s for a Sunday evening supper?

Didn’t a similar battle rage over where the Cambridge’s would spend the Christmas and New Year’s holiday? Really, the Middletons should be used to this by now, don’t you think?

Kate has been a Royal for nearly five years. Spending time away from your blood-related family on holidays is part of the deal when you marry the future King.
