Kate Middleton is irate at Pippa Middleton’s reported use of Princess Diana’s wedding dress designer for her marriage ceremony to James Matthews. Pippa Middleton’s wedding is going to be the social event of the year and that’s why the British socialite is doing whatever it takes to make every headline possible.
Yet, Pippa Middleton’s wedding plans might be infuriating her own sister Kate Middleton as there’s a new report that says she wants to use Princess Diana’s wedding dress designer to create a piece that would take everyone’s breath away.
Pippa Middleton and Princess Diana have very little in common, except for the fact that the late Princess happens to be Kate Middleton’s mother-in-law. That’s why so many critics can’t help but wonder why Pippa Middleton is insisting on using royal connections to design her wedding dress when she could easily have any other designer from London do the work for her.
David Emanuel co-designed Princess Diana’s iconic wedding dress and apparently, he’s willing to clear his schedule to create something just as spectacular for Kate Middleton’s sister. He recently told the Daily Mail, “”I personally would put her in something very soft, perhaps chiffon, with a train of course because it’s dramatic. A little lace bodice, soft and fluid. I mean, she’s got a great shape. And I would say the complete opposite of Kate just so she makes her own statement really. Soft and pretty.”
It’s not enough that so many people make comparisons to Kate Middleton and Princess Diana, especially when it comes to their public contributions, royal engagements and charity work (or the Duchess’ lack thereof), but for Pippa Middleton to work with someone who was once so close to Princess Diana, would be further testament that she absolutely relies on her sister’s royal family ties to make a name for herself.
And of course Kate Middleton doesn’t want to see Pippa Middleton or anyone else from her family riding on her coat tails, yet the Middleton family has been doing this for years now.
So far Pippa Middleton hasn’t made any public comments about her upcoming wedding just yet, but it will only be a matter of time before she leaks details about her plans to the press. What do you think, CDL readers?
