The final episode of The Good Wife is set to air on CBS on Sunday, May 8. After seven seasons of the political drama, it’s all coming to an end. You would think that since CBS has pulled the plug on the series, and the cast members are all going their separate ways, frontrunner Julianna Margulies would finally cop to beefing with fan favorite Archie Panjabi – but the Alicia Florrick portrayer still insists that there is no bad blood between the former co-stars.
The Good Wife took a turn for the worse in Season 6. Fans of the CBS drama blamed the shows demise partially on Julianna Margulies’ takeover as a producer – and having more say on current storylines. Around that time is when reports hit the internet indicating that Marguiles was feuding behind the scenes with Archie Panjabi, soon after it was revealed that Kalinda Sharma was leaving the show.
After Kalinda Sharma’s exit, disgruntled fans put Julianna Margulies on the spot about her feud with Panjabi – and Julianna insists that all was good in the hood. However, Panjabi called the Alicia Florick portrayer out on Twitter and insisted that their final scenes together were filmed separately because of their issues with each other, not because Panjabi was out of town working on another show.
Julianna Margulies sat down with New York Times to discuss her final episodes of The Good Wife, and her feud with Archie Panjabi came up again. In the article released on April 28, Julianna told the Times that it was all “gossip” and there were no issues between her and Archie. Marguiles dished, “It’s all silly gossip, and I don’t want to go there,” and refused to comment any more on the topic.
