“The Voice” 2016 brings Christina Aguilera back to claim her coach’s seat and the singer had no problem letting Blake Shelton know he’s not the one in charge. Season 10 premieres on Monday, February 29.
A two-and-a-half minute clip on “The Voice” YouTube Channel gives viewers a preview of the new season. “[Christina] knows what she wants and she’s not gonna stop until she gets it,” Blake reveals. And it’s pretty obvious X-tina isn’t about to let Shelton be top dog this year. “When I’m here you don’t run the show, Blake, just…” Christina says as she puts her hand together in a “shut-up” gesture.
It looks like things are going to heat up even more! It appears that Aguilera thinks one red-haired female contestant is definitely headed for stardom. “Can we just make out now?” Christina asks the young woman, who giggles. “The Voice” contestant does plant one on X-tina! “If you pick me, there’s more of that to come,” Aguilera promises.
Christina is definitely ready to give Blake a run for his money! Pharrell Williams and Adam Levine also return to their coaching chairs and it looks as if the guys may find themselves playing referee between Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera.
Season 10 of “The Voice” is shaping up to be the best season of the reality show ever. Shelton believes that there isn’t any other show that is similar to “The Voice” and quite frankly, Blake doesn’t think there ever will be one to equal it.
Levine reveals he feels very fortunate to be part of the show’s coaching team, what the Maroon 5 singer calls a massive cultural experience.
Welcome Christina Aguilera back to “The Voice” season 10! If the preview is any indication X-Tina is definitely going to give “the boys” Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Pharrell Williams a run for their money. Will Aguilera be the season 10 winning coach? We’ll just need to tune into find out.
