The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 25, tease that Summer (Hunter King) and Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) engagement party will come with some shockers. For starters, Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) arrival will leave Summer stunned. She’ll be overjoyed by her half-brother’s surprise visit.
At Top of the Tower, Luca will meet Daniel and everyone will be in pretty good spirits. Unfortunately, Y&R spoilers say Noah (Robert Adamson) will kill the mood with his tirade. He’ll insist that Summer can’t marry Luca, but she’ll refuse to change her mind. Daniel will pull Noah away from the rest of the group and urge him to get a grip.
Meanwhile, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will overhear Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) confession to Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson). He’ll state that Adam (Justin Hartley) wants him to look after Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois). Chelsea will feel like she’s already lost Adam. He’s giving up hope.
At the courthouse, Jack (Peter Bergman) will berate Victor (Eric Braeden) for causing Adam’s downfall. He’ll gripe that none of this should’ve happened. Victor will admit that Jack is right. Inside the courtroom, Chelsea will make a tearful plea to the judge. She’ll beg for mercy and brace herself for the decision.
The judge will hand down a 10-year sentence and Adam will be led out. Chelsea will hug her husband and he’ll be hauled off in the transport van. Suddenly, the van will stop moving and Adam will be chloroformed. Someone will place a black hood over Adam’s head and he’ll be taken away.
Back at the engagement party, Victor and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will greet Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as they enter. Dylan (Steve Burton) will appear and warn Victor that he’s not giving up. He’ll plan on proving that Victor was behind the setup. Sharon (Sharon Case) will get a little rattled over their confrontation.
In the park, Chloe will chat with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) about Adam’s fate. She’ll suggest that she doesn’t want Adam to get his freedom. With Adam out of the picture, Chloe would be free to live peacefully in Genoa City. She’ll want the people she cares about to be in Bella’s (Cali May Kinder) life. Chloe will point out that she means Kevin, too.
Across town, Nick will assure Chelsea that he’ll watch out for Connor and offer advice as he gets older. Chloe will come home and hear the sentencing news. She’ll try to console her gal pal.
At the police station, Dylan will get updates on the prison transport issue. Later, he’ll show up at the penthouse to explain the situation. Dylan will tell Chelsea and Chloe that Adam escaped from custody.
Elsewhere, Adam will see Victor’s face staring back at him when his hood is removed. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor is trying to pull off a dangerous plot. Back at Top of the Tower, another plan will pan out after all. As Luca prepares to make a speech, Travis (Michael Roark) will come strutting in.
