The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 9, tease that Dylan (Steve Burton) will realize he needs Stitch’s (Sean Carrigan) assistance. He’ll ask for some help, but he’ll suggest that it has be off the record. Stitch will undoubtedly do whatever he can to lend a hand.
Dylan is always on the hunt for answers and this time will be no different. Paul (Doug Davidson) said he was closing Adam’s (Justin Hartley) case, but Dylan wasn’t happy about it. You can bet that he’ll continue to see where his hunches lead him.
It’s not clear if Stitch’s favor will relate to Adam or not, but we do know that Dylan won’t drop his questions. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Dylan will try to tie Victor (Eric Braeden) to Adam’s escape. If Dylan can’t nail Victor for framing Adam, maybe he can take him down for the prison break.
Of course, that could bring about charges and some wrong suspicions about the explosion. It sounds like Dylan may encounter a few surprises as he tries to solve this mystery. It’ll be a while before Dylan concludes his investigation, but another plot is about to wrap up. Summer (Hunter King) and Luca’s (Miles Gaston Villanueva) storyline will finally come to a close.
Y&R spoilers indicate that Summer will show up to see Luca in jail. She’ll confront Luca one last time about his actions. Summer was deeply hurt by Luca’s deception and she feels stupid for thinking that he was a decent guy.
Once Luca admitted he was initially using Summer, she should have dumped him immediately. Instead, Summer chose to believe that Luca had changed. Now that Luca’s additional lies have been exposed, Summer will want to hash things out and leave this in her past.
Luca will promise that he truly loved Summer and he’ll think she loved him as well. Unfortunately, Summer may not buy Luca’s claims. She just can’t trust anything out of Luca’s mouth anymore. Still, Summer should be able to gain closure from this conversation and that’s all she really wants.
Meanwhile, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Jill’s (Jess Walton) conflict will explode. If you thought they were fighting before, you haven’t seen anything yet. Jill will gripe about Billy sneaking off with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). She’ll insist that this has to stop.
Billy will likely argue that he’s not a child who can be ordered around. Jill can’t just blow into town and tell Billy what to do. She thinks she has some kind of great power, but Billy will contend that he’s not afraid of her threats. Jill will probably fire back that she won’t stand by and watch Billy destroy his family.
This showdown will get heated, but there’s much more to come. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that the big reveal is in sight. You can bet that sparks are going to fly as the Abbotts face the scandal of the century.
