Abby Lee Miller’s future might be in jeopardy with all of her legal problems, but apparently she’s still focusing on her reality television career. A new report indicates the controversial dance instructor is hoping to land her own spin-off show with another network after she dramatically quit ‘Dance Moms’ in a lengthy Instagram post.
After seven seasons on the hit Lifetime show, Abby is now turning the tables on the network’s producers, claiming that she was encouraged to act the way she did on ‘Dance Moms.’
Abby has been with the show since it debuted in 2011 and was often slammed for acting like a bully to her dancers with her intimidation tactics and the cruel things she often said to them. But according to Abby, it was all an act. Abby said in her Instagram post, “I don’t have a problem working with any kid, I love children and have dedicated my life to making other people’s children successful!
And now it looks like she wants to continue her reality television career by instructing a new team of mini-dancers for a different network. The only problem, of course is her major legal woes. She was indicted for fraud for creating a secret bank account used to hide income from ‘Dance Moms’ and her dance tours. She was also indicted for making false bankruptcy declarations and hiding an estimated $755,000 in income.
A lot of ‘Dance Moms’ fans can’t believe that Abby would be planning a new show especially since there’s a good chance that she might be going to jail instead. But for Abby, she doesn’t it see it that way. She even said one of the reasons why she ended up in her current legal mess is because she became too famous too fast. Miller also told the media that she didn’t hurt anyone in her crimes and believes that she shouldn’t end up in jail for what she did.
