Amy Duggar Treats ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ As A D-List Celebrity Joke

Amy Duggar is being accused of treating ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ like a joke. Apparently, the reality television star, alongside her husband Dillon King, isn’t interested in taking her exercises on the show very seriously. A new teaser shows Amy laughing about a fake car accident that she was supposedly involved in for an exercise on the show.

One clip shows Amy lying on a stretcher with a sheet over her. Amy was involved in an accident back in January of 2015 but, for the show, she was pretending to be dead. A doctor on the show instructed Dillon to read out loud a text he sent to Amy. Unfortunately, that’s why Amy started giggling and making fun of the entire ordeal.

After her husband Dillon told her, “It kind of takes away a little bit from the sense of where we’re trying to head. I mean, your smiling and your laughing is not helping me. … It’s making it hard for me not to smile at you,” Amy replied with, “I am really bad at this. I’m sorry. I’m not good at playing dead.”

Then again, many critics are wondering why Amy Duggar agreed to appear on ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ in the first place. Is she looking to extend her 15 minutes of fame? Or are Amy and Dillon looking to land a spin-off show of their own? That’s what fans want to know.

Apparently, Amy and Dillon have been dealing with some major marital problems for quite some time now. Dillon alleged that Amy sometimes takes a swing at him while he apparently calls her derogatory names. During a press conference, Dillon even admitted that he has a history of violence and animal cruelty. Amy, for her part, says that she’s only hit Dillon once in their marriage. The couple agreed to be on the show to help save their marriage before it’s too late for the both of them.
