Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will leave Salem. He makes the big decision so that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) can be happy with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf.) Recently, Vaughan discussed the storyline. He addressed that “Ericole” have a deep love and connection.
Eric has strong feelings for Nicole, which is understandable considering their history. Nicole also has these feelings, even though she has been in denial about them. That is about to change, though. Fans expect “Ericole” to get back together at some point, but that means Brady will be left with a broken heart once again.
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Greg Vaughan spoke about the chemistry between Eric and Nicole. He also explained why the tormented character won’t tell Nicole what is in his heart.
“There is a deep love and connection between Eric and Nicole. But Eric isn’t going to tell Nicole how he really feels because of her relationship with his brother.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that fate might intervene and force Eric to admit his feelings. Brady finds out that the former priest is still in love with Nicole. So, he confronts him and Eric has no choice but to admit the truth.
The confession infuriates Brady even more. He informs his brother that the only way to salvage the situation is to fire Nicole.
“What Brady tells Eric to do is unethical and makes no sense. He’s forcing Eric to do something that’s not in his character. The last thing he wants to do is take Nicole’s job away from her.”
Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Eric leaves Salem because of the situation. However, before he goes, he writes Nicole a letter. The reason he decides to get out of town is to get clarity and figure out what to do next.
However, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will find her son. Being his mother and a psychiatrist, can she give him some good advice? While Eric’s intentions are noble, it’s never healthy o keep feelings bottled up inside. Nicole needs to know the truth and confront her own feelings.
