Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of October 16 reveal that “Paulson” might in real trouble. As the Will Horton (Chandler Massey) mystery unfolds, emotions will go into overdrive. Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) will become convinced that he is just Sonny Kiriakis’ (Freddie Smith) second choice.
Sonny and Paul were ready to get married until Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) ruined everything. While everyone in focused on whether Will is dead or alive, Paul is getting more frustrated. He’s playing the supportive fiancé right now. However, that won’t last for much longer.
Being the good guy that he is, Paul is trying to be supportive. Despite his good intentions, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest his resentment is growing. This was obvious when he sneered and scoffed at the situation to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin.) It was the first time that he actually showed his true feelings.
He is resentful and angry, perhaps even jealous. Everyone is focused on solving the Will Horton mystery, while Paul deals with being abandoned at the altar. In his mind, he was publicly humiliated. This was not the intent, but that is how he feels. Paul admitted his insecurities when reciting his wedding vows. He opened himself up, only to be left heartbroken.
Sonny’s insistence on discovering the truth is feeding into Paul’s insecurities. He is convinced that Sonny has already made his choice. Instead of marrying Paul, who is alive and ready to share his life, Sonny is chasing after a dead man.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Paul’s resentment will intensify. Clyde Weston (James Read) drops a bombshell, which will jumpstart the search for Will. Sonny will do everything in his power to find out the truth. This includes going to Memphis.
The road trip will cause a strong reaction from Paul. He won’t be able to bottle up his feelings for much longer. When he finally explodes, it could change everything between “Paulson.” Sonny is going to have to make a choice and in Paul’s eyes, he has already made his decision.
