Farrah Abraham and Simon Saran are ‘taking a break’, whatever that now means in reality star vernacular. Saran spoke to Hollywood Life and confirmed that he and Abraham had split, days after she joked that he could only get ‘bottle service girls’.
Simon Saran claims that comment was in response to him dumping her, explaining, “I think Farrah overreacted based on her emotions. If there’s a harmless picture — and that’s all it is, a picture. But I get it, I am a really handsome guy with a great sense of humor and it is something that is very hard to let go of.”
Simon claimed that the reason he broke up with Farrah was because she ‘changes too much’ when they’re filming their reality show, and he ‘didn’t have the patience’ for it anymore. Well, he certainly had the patience for it the entire time they were dating, since Farrah Abraham’s unstable behavior on Teen Mom was what shot her to fame in the first place.
Note that the language used is also very careful, and he says ‘taking a break’ as opposed to dumped or breaking up. This clearly leaves room for a reunion down the line, and it wouldn’t be surprising if this ‘break’ was just a publicity stunt to increase the spotlight on himself. He knows Farrah Abraham is more famous than he is, and that dating her was what made him famous in the first place. However, ‘taking a break’ without breaking up is a tried and tested method for reality stars attempting to cling desperately to their fame, even if it’s not necessarily successful in the long run.
Farrah, on the other hand, is clearly not taking the ‘break’ as well as Simon is (which makes since if he initiated it), and has been lashing out on social media – hence, the angry message about Simon not being able to get any quality girls to pay attention to him.
