General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that now that Julian Jerome (William deVry) is out of jail, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) needs to watch his back. Sonny thinks he was totally justified in leaving Ava Jerome (Maura West) to burn in the warehouse fire, but Julian will not see it that way. What’s worse is that Sonny doesn’t leave Ava alone even while she’s on her possible deathbed.
Ava is on a ventilator, in horrible pain, and half her skin has been burned off. Yet Sonny thinks this is the time to stop by and threaten Ava. General Hospital spoilers say Julian will see Sonny in there terrorizing his wounded sister and won’t take it well. Julian still has a trial coming for the criminal charge of conspiring with crazy Olivia “Liv” Jerome (Tonja Walker). But Julian has a trump card he can play to walk away free and clear.
Remember the DA sent one of her minions to offer Julian a sweet deal. They were willing to let Julian go and drop the charges if he would set Sonny up by provoking him so they could nail the Corinthos mob boss for attempted murder. Julian said he wouldn’t rat Sonny out, but Sonny’s cruelty towards Ava might provoke Julian to change his mind and take the deal. It makes sense for both Jeromes.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Julian has ammunition to use to easily provoke Sonny – the death of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) and Ava’s role in it. It wouldn’t be too hard for Julian to have Sonny frothing at the mouth and pledging to kill him. With Ava out of commission and possibly dying, Julian will not stand by while Sonny harasses and threatens her while she’s in a miserable state. There’s one sure way Julian can stop it.
If Julian goes back to the DA and says he wants the deal, he can provoke Sonny and when Sonny comes after him, the PCPD can lock Sonny up and then Ava will be safe from the threat of Sonny’s revenge. Knowing that Sonny is waiting outside her hospital room waiting to murder her even if she survives isn’t good for Ava’s health. Julian wants her to live and so he will fight to save her.
Sonny has a hot temper and anytime he’s warned to calm down and not take things to the next level, he ignores them. It would be easy for Julian to push Sonny across the line. This could be a big win-win for Julian and Ava. With Sonny behind bars, Ava is safe and Julian is safe. Not only that, but Julian won’t have to face the criminal charges he was arrested for thanks to crazy Liv.
Julian and Ava could live happily ever after with Sonny behind bars. Ava could heal up, get her daughter Avery back and move on with her life. And Julian can have Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) back. No one needs to know that Julian took the deal from the DA. That would be his secret with the PCPD. Just how far will Julian go to shut down Sonny and protect his sister?
