General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, August 28, tease that Ava (Maura West) will try to push Griffin (Matt Cohen) away. She appreciates his kindness, but she also hates pity. Ava doesn’t want their friendship to become burden, but Griffin has another perspective. He’ll wonder if it’s so hard to believe that he cares about her.
Ava may argue that it actually is difficult to believe that. She’s not used to having someone like Griffin in her life. Once Griffin offers reassurance, Ava will slip into another one of her steamy fantasies. She’ll continue to battle her desires, but she’ll attempt to put them out of her mind for now.
Meanwhile, Franco (Roger Howarth) will ask if Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is still on board with him moving in. He’ll want to make sure she’s not having second thoughts. General Hospital spoilers say Liz will promise that she’s looking forward to this. Their relationship is stronger than ever and this is a good time to take the next step.
Later, Jake (Hudson West) will ask Franco some questions about his strange paintings. Franco will do his best to explain his artwork in a kid-friendly way. Across town, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will run some ideas by Jason (Billy Miller). He’ll go over his plan for leaving the mob behind, but Jason will wonder if he can really pull this off. GH spoilers reveal that extreme danger is brewing.
Elsewhere, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will sit down for a chat with Sam (Kelly Monaco). She’ll state that she wants to talk to her about Julian (William deVry). Sam will realize that Alexis seems upset. She’ll probably assume this is about Julian’s trial and the verdict that followed.
Alexis will admit that Julian was convicted on all counts and could remain in prison for up to 20 years. Sam certainly has her issues with Julian, but she’ll hate to see Alexis in such pain. Since Sam has also been going through a rough time, perhaps they’ll give each other a pep talk.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Carly (Laura Wright) will get updates on the conviction. She’ll think he finally got what he deserved. Carly will hope that Julian serves his full sentence, but that’s obviously not going to happen. Julian will be back in a few months for additional drama.
At The Floating Rib, Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) will enjoy a girls’ night with Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). However, she’ll quickly discover that this evening is even more girly than she anticipated. Valerie will ask if Kristina brought her to lesbian night.
It looks like Valerie might try to be her wing woman, but we all know Kristina wants Parker (Ashley Jones). Will Kristina make progress soon? We’ll keep you posted as other GH news comes in.
