General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, June 19 reveal that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) gets a surprise. Someone referred her for a job that could allow her to stick around Port Charles. That sounds like the work of either Michael Quartermaine (Chad Duell) or Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford). Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) catches up with Michael to tell him the latest.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly tells Michael the divorce is still on, but she and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) are no longer battling. Carly and Sonny take off to Puerto Rico this week to Sonny’s island to deal with some urgent business. Sonny gets an unexpected and heated visit from Dr Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Griffin wants to know if Sonny is planning to kill Ava Jerome (Maura West).
No doubt Sonny is there to preach forgiveness but Sonny isn’t in a charitable mood when it comes to Ava. Over at General Hospital, Ava has a visitor. Julian Jerome (William deVry) isn’t happy to see that there’s a DNR (do not resuscitate) order on her chart. Julian demands that Ava tell him why she signed that document. Julian wants her to fight for her life, but Ava seems ready to let go if things get bad.
General Hospital buzz is that Ava has more reason to be scared of her fate when she gets to see the extent of her burns for the first time. Ava doesn’t want to live like this but it seems that she’s recovering and has no choice – unless Sonny comes to put her out of her misery! Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is also in bad shape at GH. Sam is seeing things – this time it’s Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) with a bloody head wound.
Jason sees Sam crying and wants to know if she’s okay. So far, Sam has been holding back on telling anyone she’s seeing and hearing things that aren’t there. Will Sam tell Jason what’s happening? Jason is taken aback by Sam’s behavior. Someone else with an uncertain future is Leo Falconeri. Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) freaks out over her son’s fate.
Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) comes to see Olivia at the MetroCourt and she’s spun up about Julian asking to see Leo and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) telling Olivia she has no choice and can’t stop him from using his parental rights. Olivia begs Ned to help her find a lawyer to keep Leo away from Julian. General Hospital spoilers tease that Ned thinks they need to get married ASAP to fight Julian over Leo.
Ned and Olivia make wedding plans and set a date then let their families know. Someone else making plans for the future are Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). Kevin wants Laura to move in with him and is even willing to take on her irritating grandson Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) as a package deal.
