General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) sneakiness will pay off. She swiped Drew’s (Billy Miller) glass during her recent visit and now it’s at the lab for testing. Josslyn will let Oscar (Garren Stitt) know that they’ll find out the truth soon. They’ll be anxious to see if the DNA test results prove Drew is Oscar’s father.
GH just delivered a very predicable revelation by making Steve Burton the real Jason Morgan. Most of us knew that outcome going into it. Maybe the show will use this opportunity to deliver a surprise. They have a chance to go against what’s expected and make Oscar’s father someone else.
It makes sense that General Hospital would want to keep this mystery going for a while. They just dropped a major bomb, so there’s no need to clear everything up so quickly. GH should let this ride and rev up the drama. If it turns out Oscar isn’t Drew’s son, the search will have to continue.
Kim (Tamara Braun) hinted that she’d been keeping Oscar out of the loop to protect him. However, she didn’t seem afraid when she first saw Jason and confused him for Andrew Cain. Kim even went home and listened to the CD Drew gave her as a parting gift.
It doesn’t sound like Kim is trying to protect Oscar from Drew, so she might be trying to protect him from his biological father. Who might that be? It’s possible this baddie is still out there somewhere and will eventually surface to shake things up. Of course, there’s actually a potential candidate already on canvas.
The timing of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) arrival was awfully suspicious. He came on the scene right after the news broke about a second Jason being in town. Peter was just a bit too curious about the twin situation. There’s definitely something off with this guy. He may have a connection to both Kim and the memory mapping study.
Perhaps Peter is the one Kim doesn’t want Oscar to know about. Wes Ramsey and Garren Stitt could certainly pass for father and son. Oscar’s dating Josslyn, so she’ll remain in this storyline in the coming weeks. Since Carly (Laura Wright) is Josslyn’s mom, this could set up some scenes for Wright and Ramsey. They’re an item in real life, so it’d be fun to see their characters interact.
