General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Tuesday, May 9, tease that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) will run into Anna (Finola Hughes) again. She’ll continue to play her dangerous game, but Valentin will push back. He won’t let Anna’s charm tactics get to him. Valentin will suggest that Anna should just go ahead and tell him why she’s there.
GH buzz hints that Anna’s twin, Alex (Finola Hughes), may have taken her place for this hot plot. Regardless, it seems it’s going to take a little more work to pry Valentin’s secrets out of him. In fact, General Hospital spoilers reveal that Valentin may turn the tables before long.
Across town, Nina (Michelle Stafford) will speak to Nathan (Ryan Paevey) about the drama in her marriage. She feels like Valentin is slipping away, but she isn’t willing to give up. Nina will declare that she’s not going to back down from a fight.
Nathan believes his relationship is at risk as well. Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) job is keeping her out of Port Charles for even longer than she anticipated. Nathan isn’t sure Maxie truly wants him anymore. It’s clear that this couple is in trouble.
Speaking of trouble, Franco (Roger Howarth) could be in some of it when he shows up on Cassadine Island. Jason (Billy Miller) will grab Franco and demand to know what he’s doing there. Their conflict will erupt and it’ll lead to a serious brawl pretty soon.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Franco and Jason will find a way to work together eventually. They need to figure out how to be a team for Jake’s (Hudson West) sake. Meanwhile, Lulu (Emme Rylan) will also be willing to play nice for the sake of her child. She’ll indicate that she’ll do whatever it takes to get custody of Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez).
Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) will get updates on Lulu’s friendly strategy. Will Lulu really what she wants by being so pleasant? Lulu may have to get down and dirty once the custody case is in jeopardy. General Hospital spoilers state that a shocking incident could totally throw off Lulu’s plans.
Elsewhere, Carly (Laura Wright) will make a bold declaration to Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman). She’ll insist that Sonny (Maurice Bernard) started this and she’s going to finish it. Carly intends on making Sonny pay the price, but he has an ace in the hole. He’ll meet with Martina (Daya Vaidya) to set up a deal.
Martina will like what she hears, but she’ll suspect there’s a catch. Sonny will admit there is. It appears Martina will ultimately reach an agreement with Sonny. She doesn’t have much of a choice. When Carly stumbles across their handshake, it should cause some major drama. GH viewers won’t want to miss the great scenes ahead.
