General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam (Kelly Monaco) will have a big decision to make regarding SB Jason (Steve Burton) and BM Jason (Billy Miller). However, there is also an even more important question regarding her relationship. Which man truly loves her? Despite both Patient Six and BM Jason claiming to care, only one of them actually displays a pure love for Sam.
When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Patient Six spoke about Sam, his intentions were clear. He didn’t want to confuse Sam or cause her any pain. SB Jason realized that she had a bond with Billy Miller’s character. Not only are they married, but they have built a life together and spent a lot of time building a relationship.
Steve Burton’s Jason recognized this. General Hospital spoilers hint because of his true, pure and genuine love for Sam, that he didn’t want to disrupt her life. He didn’t want to cause her any grief, confusion or pain. This is what real love is… wanting what is best for someone else, even if it hurts you.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Billy Miller’s Jason has feelings for Sam. However, his love is more of the selfish kind. Sam is his wife, his property and he is fighting to make sure that Sam stays with him no matter what. With him, BM Jason isn’t even considering what is best for Sam or what she wants. To him, she is his property and he will do whatever is necessary to keep what he thinks is his.
That isn’t love necessarily pure love… it’s possessiveness, some might even call it romantic slavery.
BM Jason wants to keep his life the way it is, even though he has been making some major changes. One example is buying a media company, something that SB Jason would never do. It is clear BM Jason does care for Sam, but it’s not expressed now as true love, the way SB Jason’s is.
If Sam and BM Jason are meant to be together. would he feel so threatened by Patient Six in this regard? After all Sam is an adult with free choice in a free society – nothing can MAKE he go with SB Jason unless she chooses to.
