Kate Middleton won’t allow Prince William to spend his 35th birthday with his mates. Instead, she expects him to spend a low-key birthday at home with her and their two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. That’s because Kate doesn’t want William making embarrassing headlines for acting like a fool in public like he did earlier this year.
When it comes to birthdays, the British royal family doesn’t like to make a big fuss about it unless of course it’s Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. That’s why Kensington Palace didn’t post any special birthday messages for Prince William on social media. Instead, he spent the day quietly at home with his wife and their two children. And for Kate Middleton, this is exactly the way she wanted to celebrate his birthday.
Prince William would love to let loose and party with his best mates at pubs and nightclubs. He wants to let out his stress and frustrations by enjoying himself and letting his guard down from time to time. But unfortunately, he can’t do that. Or at least he can’t bee seen doing that too often in public.
Plus, Kate Middleton doesn’t need Prince William embarrassing her like he did earlier this year when he went on an all-mate ski trip to Verbier, Switzerland with his friends. The Duchess was downright humiliated when she saw the photos of him drinking alcohol with a blonde model at a ski resort. If that weren’t enough, there was also a video of him dancing awkwardly in a nightclub.
The entire world saw his “dad moves” on the dance floor. As much as William would love to let loose with his friends, he can’t do that. After all, he’s the future King of England. If there’s one place he needs to be on his birthday it’s at home with his wife and children, and not pub-crawling with his friends like a drunken fool.
So far Prince William has not made any comments about his birthday or if he has anything special planned for the weekend. But considering how the couple didn’t do anything for Kate Middleton’s birthday, there’s a good chance they won’t do anything for William’s either. Simply put, he shouldn’t expect to do any wild partying to celebrate his birthday. Those days are now in the past.
