Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is allegedly frustrated with Meghan Markle because the latter is stealing the former’s spotlight. Kate Middleton has always been an image of beguiling grace, and has proven her worth on the red carpet. However, with Meghan Markle soon to wed brother-in-law Prince Harry, all gloves are off. Kate Middleton, pregnant with her third child, feels overshadowed by Meghan Markle who is used to the Hollywood glitz and glamour of the monarchy. The bright, shining lights seem to gel with Meghan Markle – she knows how to pose for a camera and she knows how to work the media something which Kate Middleton is not always as good at.

We did some investigation and found that Kate’s red carpets gaffes are at a zero, while Meghan Markle’s are at a zero too. So it’s nil-nil going into the first round. According to the Daily Star, “[Meghan Markle] knows how to work a red carpet and she definitely knows how to pose for a camera in ways that Kate Middleton can only dream of doing herself. Forget Queen Elizabeth and Camilla Parker-Bowles. Kate Middleton knows that Meghan Markle will be a real royal threat the moment she officially becomes a member of the British royal family.”
Whoa. Bring on the popcorn – these two will be going at it like two ducks in a toxic pond.
Both Kate and Meghan are easy on the eyes, therefore this battle could go either way. Kate Middleton has had some time to grow accustomed to the etiquette of the royal monarchy. And if you think it’s just curtsying and smiling, you’ve got another thing coming… There’s so much more involved in the process, like placing when taking family photos, like being cosy and close with the Queen, and etc. It’s not just a smile and half-baked wave at the camera.
Aside from being ‘royal’, one also has to attend about a hundred royal engagements per year, or more if the monarchy sees it fit that you attend. It’s actually like a reality television game show with no winner at the end. Unfortunately, dearest Meghan Markle doesn’t have all of this down. She doesn’t understand this world of diamonds and tiaras and real princes and princesses. In Hollywood it’s all plastic and make believe.
I bet – no, I am sure – Kate Middleton will beat Meghan Markle in the race to the popularity finish line. There’s no royal doubt about it.
